The foam was not cut evenly at the factory. The mattress did not expand evenly. Once it had expanded one side was significantly thinner than the other side. This kind of defect reflects very poorly on the manufacturer since their quality control should have caught such an obvious defect.

I bought this mattress to use for a toddler. I wish it was a bit softer but my toddler has enjoyed her new bed and has slept through the night. If your child wets the bed, I’m not sure if this is the best purchase for you. However, it does have a mattress cover included but I think another one might be necessary for wetness protection .

I really wished I would have read the recent reviews from 2017 before this mattress was purchased. Like others have said this mattress does not fully expand in 48 hours. It has been a week now and the ends still haven't fully risen. Most of the mattress has but the ends..not so much. They are mishapen. I did everything it said to do , rolled it out, took the plastic off, and let it lay flat. I even figured just to make sure I would give it more time. This mattress isn't as thick as it seems online. I think that the company has changed the product since all of those good reviews a few years ago, cheaped out. It did not come with a waterproof cover either. I am going to have to try and buy something else to put underneath it because it isn't all that thick. Overall I am not impressed and would not recommend this product. I expected better quality from Graco.

I actually purchased this for my 160 lb Great Dane. It has been wonderful for him, it supports his body and doesn't collapse under his weight. He's comfortable and loves laying on it. It's easy to clean and waterproof cover keeps the mattress clean and doesn't hold any odors. No issues with fleas either. I've recommended this to all my Dane friends.

This mattress is worth every penny. Our son just turned 3, and we hated that he was still sleeping on his cheapo crib mattress with springs (we now feel terrible for not getting a better quality one like this from the get go). This mattress came, and after it ‘infalted’, we were VERY impressed at how firm it was! I swear it’s almost like a mini Tempurpedic! The only downside was that we had to wait about 3 days before we could actually put them down and use them, which resulted in having to keep them somewhere that 4 kids weren’t going to be wallowing all over them. I would definitely buy these a second time.

My daughter likes to jump on her mattress and cracked the top to the plastic mattress she had before. We search for a mattress for a toddler that didn’t have that plastic coating due to that. This mattress is perfect. It is fluffy and soft and durable it won’t crack when she jumps on it.

LOVE this mattress! It took a little less then the 48 hours to completely Expand. I did rotate the mattress to help with the process. Once completely expanded I put all the covers back on. My daughter loves sleeping in her bed now! I even slept in the bed with her and slept like a baby!

Once opened up it will expands to its full size of 52” Long x 27.63” Wide x 5 Thick. This Crib / Toddler Mattress is a perfect fit for any standard Crib Frame. Allow 48 hours for this mattress to expand to it full size. Fluff like you would a pillow if there are areas that don’t seem to expand like it should have. One of the features I was impressed with is the removable and washable mattress cover and water-resistant lining keeping the mattress safe and clean as well as keeping baby clean and dry when a diaper fails to do its job threw the night. At only 10 pounds the mattress is very easy to move around while changing the fitted sheet or when those accidents happen and you find that you have to remove the mattress cover for cleaning. What I was most impressed with is how much better my toddler sleeps while sleeping on this mattress. It is not as firm as a regular baby mattress so I would not use this mattress on a newborn if you place them on their tummy because of the worry of smothering. But with a toddler that has no problem moving around that would eliminate that issue. Is not a firm mattress and it will couture’s to the child’s body insuring the spine is inline and stress free. And when your toddler sleeps well, that means that Mom and Dad sleep well all so. It is Free of phthalates and lead making it a safe mattress for baby. It is Anti-static and anti-microbial. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Graco Premium Foam Crib & Toddler Mattress-in-a-Box is the best mattress my child has had yet. It comes vacuum packed and rolled into a small box approximately 3ft x 1ft or so, so it easily fits into any small car if you are not able to ship it to your home and need to pick up in store instead. No large mattress trying to squish into a car yay! Its super light and easy to maneuver and easy to "assemble" too. Simply remove from packaging and let unfold on floor. Mine said to put on the first protective covering but it came already on the mattress so that saved me a step. Then there is a second zippered covering you have to put on. This one was a little trickier, as it didn't seem to have all the corners where needed, and it zipped up on the long side of the mattress instead of the bottom short side (which was portrayed in the instructions). This threw me off a but but it didn't fit any other way so I just went with what I could. Last but not least you need to leave it out for 48 hours to expand to its full potential,and it says to "fluff" if needed. However, after 24 hours mine seemed to have expanded to full capacity and was ready for use. That was mine though and others may take a little longer, so if you need this mattress for use for a certain time frame I recommend buying it a few days before you need to use it so it can expand correctly. Other than that I have had no issues. The material on the outside (washable) covering is a little coarse and really need to have a nice crib sheet over it. I do worry a bit when it comes to having young babies on this mattress, as I know most baby crib mattresses are a little on the harder side to prevent smothering in a young child. While this foam mattress is no where near as soft and squishy as a typical memory foam mattress, it is still much softer than the old crib mattress we had before. But my toddler loves it, and I think the tad bit of more soft it gives her has really helped her sleeping habits and waking up in the middle of the night. My child really likes this mattress and I am sure your child will too.

I bought this mattress, along with a crib, for my friend who lives in GA. I live and NJ and had it shipped to her a few days prior to me driving down to visit her. It is the most comfortable mattress for her 6 month old baby girl. I absolutely love how it feels. Came in long rectangle box. Easy to pull out. It just unfolds and then it expands after a few days. It's perfect and her daughter sleeps like an angel.
