My husband and I have a nice premium soft and comfortable mattress. Are 5 month old seemed to like our mattress as much as we do. We decided to research and try to find a baby crib mattress that feels just like ours and we came across this Graco Premium Foam Mattress. JC Penney’s had the same mattress but for $10 more. We made our purchase based on consumer reviews. We read a review about a lady who stated that she got inside of the crib and tried it out for herself lol. She reported that the mattress was truly soft and comfortable. The reviews mentioned how the mattress will not inflate immediately. This is true. It will take some time. We waited a couple of days before allowing our baby to try it out. We were not in a rush. The reviews mentioned taking the mattress in the bathroom, shutting the door, and turning the shower on to help inflate the mattress faster. We did not try this. The reviews also mentioned the ‘smell’ of the mattress. It does have a brand new mattress smell that lingers. Other than the mattress smell, we are satisfied with the mattress. It is nice, soft, but firm enough for a baby. FYI The mattress comes folded in a box about 4ft tall and about 8 inches wide. When you first look at it, you would not think there’s a mattress inside! My husband was like,’What is this!?’ The box is not heavy. Our baby likes to stretch his arms out and turns side ways while sleeping. We are happy that he can sleep as wild as he wants in the comfort of his own little crib! We have the Graco converter (dark cherry colored) crib. The mattress does not make that plastic ‘crunchy’ sound every time he moves. No noise!

I actually purchased this for my 160 lb Great Dane. It has been wonderful for him, it supports his body and doesn't collapse under his weight. He's comfortable and loves laying on it. It's easy to clean and waterproof cover keeps the mattress clean and doesn't hold any odors. No issues with fleas either. I've recommended this to all my Dane friends.

My daughter hasn't actually slept on the mattress yet, but it was a lot thinner than I expected. I got this for my daughter's toddler bed and for some reason I expected more cushion. It was awkward having to put the fire proof cover on myself while it was still trying to curl up, since it comes rolled up in a box, but it wasn't a huge deal. I probably will purchase a foam insert to put between it and the mattress cover for more cushion. Overall, not a bad deal for the price.

This mattress is worth every penny. Our son just turned 3, and we hated that he was still sleeping on his cheapo crib mattress with springs (we now feel terrible for not getting a better quality one like this from the get go). This mattress came, and after it ‘infalted’, we were VERY impressed at how firm it was! I swear it’s almost like a mini Tempurpedic! The only downside was that we had to wait about 3 days before we could actually put them down and use them, which resulted in having to keep them somewhere that 4 kids weren’t going to be wallowing all over them. I would definitely buy these a second time.

It comes with a "fire safe" cover. Do not use it! It had fiberglass-like fibers that contaminated our sheets, carpeting and caused my daughter a cough that would never go away (until we switched mattresses). The fibers were nearly invisible, but sparkle in bright light. I only noticed them when we decided her sleep issues might be linked to this mattress. So we took it off and had it on the floor for reading time. We all got incredible itchy. We looked at the blankets that were on the mattress with a bright light after noticing some twinkly fibers floating in the air, and they were covered with these super thin fibers! They would connect like a web. I couldn't even grab them with tweezers. I had to use a lint roller to remove the fibers before and after multiple washes and a carpet cleaning. Super creepy!! I kept the cover as proof, it looks like a hedgehog, with prickly little fibers protruding out. They don't just stay put, they actually move through sheets and fabric. In addition, the mattress never flattened out completely because the crib sheets are so tight, they pulled it into an arc and it never went fully flat even though I followed instructions and let it settle for a few days. I had higher expectations from this brand since we trusted them for so many other products.

I was extremely nervous about buying this mattress online without having the luxury of feeling it first, but as soon as we unpacked it, my nervousness ceased. First, this mattress comes in a pretty compact box, which was the first thing that I liked. When we unpacked it, it was very easy to unfold. As per the instructions, we left it out to fully expand, and it was almost fully expanded within the first few hours. This mattress is of a very good quality and we are extremely happy that we purchased it. The foam is firm, but also very comfortable. Our baby was so comfortable that she was sleeping for 6 hours during the night from the time she was a month old. She is now 4 months old and is still sleeping pretty much through the night on this mattress. One of the best purchases my husband and I have ever made.

I love that it has a zipper waterproof cover making for easy washing. I think it will provide safe and comfy sleep for my little one.

This crib mattress came in a nice compact box which made for easy transport. When you pull it out of the box you have to cut away the plastic packaging and then lay it flat on the floor. You then are instructed to take off the outer cover and slip on the fire barrier cover. This was very simple. Then you put the outer cover back on. After 48 hours it will fully expand and is ready for use. It's like magic. I am so impressed with this mattress. It is very soft and is the perfect amount of firmness. Most mattresses are too firm but this one is similar to a memory foam mattress. Its so nice that I wish I had one for myself!

Maybe I got a newer one vs what other people got or they were just unlucky but the mattress fluffed up to the 5 inches in less than 5 minutes. You could actually hear the air getting sucked back in. I removed the cover to hand wash (which is the directions right on the tag. Don’t use a washer and dryer) but everything is great so far. It has a “new’’ smell that I wouldn’t really call chemical that seems like it will go away pretty quickly. I’m going to leave it in our open living/dining room for the suggested time before moving to the smaller nursery though.

The mattress expanded as it should, didn't have any problems. It comes with a flimsy slip cover to go over the foam, a fire-resistant cover, and a mattress protector. Three separate covers all with zippers. I washed all the covers before putting in my daughters bedroom. I couldn't tell which cover it was, not the protector, but one of them sheds fibers quite significantly. My couch is covered! and sparkles from all the fibers (I assume polyester, but not 100% sure as the fire resistant one doesn't have a label on it to state what it is made of). Aside from that, the smell of chemicals that the foam is made of is STRONG! I let it sit for a week before putting it in her room, I thought the smell went away for the most part, but it's still bad enough to notice when I walk in her room. The quality of the mattress is great. I even feel she is sleeping better as opposed to the one we did have. I just wish the smell would go away faster (its been 3 weeks, its getting better but still there).
