[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have always liked Graco products and when we saw this crib and toddler bed foam mattress thought we would give it a try. I always found regular crib mattresses unwieldy, difficult to manage. This foam mattress is much easier to remove, replace, and turn over. It is very lightweight yet offers substantial support for your baby or toddlers sleeping comfort. We purchased a similar foam mattress for a youth bed a year ago for a two year old, and I can tell you both mom and dad find it pretty comfortable! So making this choice for a six month old little girl was easy. This Graco mattress is shipped with a fire-resistant mattress cover which along with the mattress cover offers an additional layer between the foam and your child. And it’s somewhat like terry-cloth so not uncomfortable at all. Instructions say it may take 48 hours for the mattress, which is shipped compressed and rolled, to fully rise to shape. But don’t be surprised if it takes a bit longer, and needs a little “help”. Our experience has been that the occasional overnight accident cleans up very nicely and the light weight of the mattress and easy handling makes getting all the covers off, washed, and back on relatively painless. Sure wish they had these when I was growing up!

This mattress came vacuum sealed in a small box that fit perfectly in our car with no problem. It fits our little girl like a glove. It's firm and sleeps our little girl perfect. She never has any problems when she's on her mattress. After researching I feel like I made the right purchase for our little girl.

When the mattress came home I wondered how it would end? My husband was very skeptical to see it, I unpacked it and followed all the instructions, after 10 minutes had already tripled its size, after two days was fully expanded, except for a couple of corners, I had read about this issue in the reviews , but I realized that being with its cover closed the fabric had not let it fully expand, so I opened the lining and let it free, after a couple of hours the mattress was fully expanded, reaching to measure 5 inches thick , The outside in the cover is soft cotton and rubber on the inside turning it into a waterproof protector, I love this feature because of the materials does not make any noise, my son is sensitive to plastic noose when he is sleeping , for that reason his first mattress bought for his crib almost did not use it as it sounded when moving and woke him, although it cost me almost four times more than the Graco mattress, in addition the cover can be taken out and machine washed, which is wonderful, I am mother of 5 children and for each I bought a mattress, and this is the best for many reasons, my son currently weighs 37 pounds, and measures 38 inches, and the mattress almost never unde when Is lying down, I compare it with my baby's mattress crib and is much firmer, and the price difference is abysmal, I bought it for a toddler bed and it fit wonderfully, but it also fits in the crib, my son in that mattress sleeps all Night and never wake up in the middle of the night, My other baby does not like to stay in the crib but sleep long when I put to sleep on this mattress, I recommend this mattress even for a newborn, and despite what I have read in other reviews this Mattress never had bad odor, or smell of chemical, really did not smell at all, I'm so happy with this mattress that I plan to buy another to change the mattress for the baby's crib, and of course, my husband could not agree more, he also loves this Mattress and how comfortable and happy our son looks while sleep in it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy we decided to go with this mattress as our son transitioned to a toddler bed from our family bed. It arrived in a box and all we had to do was unpack it and let it expand. My absolute favorite feature is that it is water-resistant and has a washable outer cover! This has absolutely come in handy as potty training has begun in our home. So satisfied with this mattress!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll admit I was a bit skeptical when I received the item, I didn't think a foam mattress would work for an infant. I could not have been more wrong! The mattress comes super compressed in a box. This makes it easy to transport in a small car if you do not choose home delivery. It is also lightweight, which made getting it upstairs a breeze. Set up was also easy. I comes in the outer cover, which you have to take off. Then you put on the flame resistant cover, then put the main cover back on. The outside cover is sooo soft to the touch. The very inner layer seems to be waterproof, but there have been no major spills to test that theory just yet. The mattress itself is very firm for an infant, and my 7 year old laid on it too to test it and he agreed it was very comfy. Also, I laid on it for a bit too, just to make sure it would keep it's shape, and it did. With just the baby, it doesn't indent at all, so I don't have to worry about a suffocation concern. This is a very nice mattress and I highly recommend!

At first I was skeptical about this product but I received this and it was better then I thought. It's comfortable and it's not to soft which o thought but it's not too hard it's perfect and it became full size I believe, this is good for the price I like it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It really is a full size foam crib mattress in a box and it's awesome! When I first saw it I thought, "Whoah, there's a full sized crib mattress in there?" And there most definitely is! 1. It is vacuum-sealed and coiled around itself inside of a tight plastic casing and so when you first unroll it allow it to lay flat. It says it meets federal regulations for being flame retardant, and it comes with a covering that appears to be an additional safety barrier. 2. Is has a strong odor, probably from the flame retardant materials, so I would put it in a place with good ventilation while it expands and then put it on your child’s toddler bed frame or crib. If you’re not pressed for time, I would recommend waiting a full week before allowing your child to sleep on it. The odors dissipate significantly by then. 3. Give it a full 24 hours to expand to its maximum size. I put it next to my other daughter's coil mattress (which I got from Wal-Mart and like a lot) shortly after opening it and it was like half the depth of an average crib mattress. I checked the mattress a few hours later and it expanded considerably. By the next day it had completely expanded to the same size of my daughter’s coil mattress. I thought I liked the coil mattresses, but this foam mattress has become my favorite. It is firm yet plush. Being that this mattress is foam and does NOT come with a plastic covering, I would STRONGLY recommend putting a moisture barrier or pad over it that sops up leaks and spills. How do you clean a foam mattress and keep odors from permeating it? I would imagine after a few urine incidents the foam mattress would start to have a not-so-pleasant odor. So, avoid having to do deal with that scenario by just buying a moisture resistant cover and placing that on top of the mattress and under your crib sheet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this article and I really surprised because when I received it and saw the size, I thought this does not look like a mattress it seems a blanket, but when I opened it and was expanding surprised me a lot and see the face of satisfaction from my son sleeping and know that he has had a truly restful sleep is something that makes me very happy. The material is very soft and strong quality.

Reviews had said the mattress was smashed and smelled strange. The mattress unfolded completely perfect and I'm letting it air out for a day or so. Washed covers that came with it and no more chemical smell. My toddler plopped right on it and wanted to take a nap!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we got this wonderful crib mattress for our newborn. our todder has moved into a big girl bed and took her mattress to her new bed. I love the fact that the mattress is easy to move, very light and easily cleanable. The baby seems to sleep well, the sheets stay in place and the mattess doesn't have that weird plasticy smell. It seems to be holding up well as my todder insits on geting in the bed with her new brother on occasion. Overall so far we are very pleased with this product.
