Was hesitate to buy, but was pleasantly surprised how good the picture was, sound, and quality. Been buying Samsung ever since!! Just wish it was easier to know how each one performs because we do not understand all the lettering that they are given. Please make it simpler to understand. Am very pleased with the one we have now. Very clear picture, sound is great, and still has the best quality out there to choose from.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took some to adjust to the workings of this TV. Older citizens need a universal set up. NOT one specific to every brand out there. After the 1.5 hr. set up process, we are happy with the picture quality and especially the tv speakers. Had to use a soundbar with others TV's in the past. Also, for older people, the remote is very small, hard to use with arthritic hands! Buttons very small, also the color of the remote. No discernible colors to know what button is what. So, my suggestion is,,,, don't forget there are people out there older than 55 and need some adjustments made to there electronics! We are still alive and trying to thrive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first week I had this TV it was already becoming slow to respond(had to manually reset and delete apps), the screen was tearing and distorting while watching some YouTube videos. Contrast is very dark on this one but, I didn't pay a whole lot of money for it so, I can't complain too much. I just expected more from a Samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My only wish about our new TV is: I wish it was not a "smart" TV. My set up is a cable box (Xfinity), a receiver (Sony) and of course, 55" Samsung. With my prior Samsung I was able to use the cable remote for everything including going directly to Xfinity cable without using the Samsung remote. Now, to go to cable, I have to first turn cable, receiver and TV on using the cable remote, but then I need the Samsung remote to go to Xfinity cable. It's okay for me to do it but if I'm not here it would be too much for my wife to handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HD took some time to get use to, but now that we are comfortable with it the brightness is good and what we looked at as contrast issues don't exist any longer. Sometimes there is a lag in the responsiveness of the screen from the remote, we will have to push the select button a couple of times before it response. The buttons on the remote are very small and sometimes hard to select causing selections that weren't desired.

The contrast and brightness brings the scenes and people alive in the room! The menu Apps are strategically aligned and very responsive to the remote control. The many features are easily accessible and upscale. My friends and family are enjoying it too an extreme. They are all wanting their own Theater setup. I Love my HD TV. Lots to choose from and speed is just right. Sound is loud & clear. One day soon I'll be buying a 70” I can't wait to upgrade again.
