[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the smell of Gain, it’s all I use for my laundry. I had really high hopes for this due to my experience with the Febreeze ones. I loved the scent, it just didn’t stay around or mask the odors of the litter very long like the Febreeze ones.

Works great and I like how it is 99 percent dust free. I have three cats and they all seem to like it. I did notice it has a strong fragrance out of the box. Was worried that the cats wouldn't take to it, but they did. After a few days, the fragrance didn't mix well with cat mess to my liking but it wasn't too bad.

I am currently trying this out right now, and I have three cats so any litter is really put to the test in my house. So far, it’s ability to mask bad smells is pretty average. When comparing to other types of Fresh Step litter, I think that this might not be the greatest when you have more than one cat. It smells okay for a short while, but once it starts to go bad, the smell gets horrible real quick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are new to the cat world. Vincent is about 5 months old now and we've been through 3 different litter brands. This is the only one that doesn't gross me out. It's so nice to go into Vincent's room (AKA laundry room) and only smell a faint Hawaiian scent.

I became a cat owner by chance and was given some litter from a relative to get us set up. The litter was dusty and didn't mask the smell at all! My kitten was bringing so much of it out of the box and onto my floor. A few days of that and I went searching. I came across the fresh step with gain and instantly I knew I struck gold! I love gain scent and use it daily already. This product has no dust and covers the smell amazingly! Also there is no trail following my kitty now!

I love this litter. It clumps better than most other litters, it's easy on my fur babies paws and the scent is great. I keep their boxes in my bathroom and the scent helps to deodorize that room. The biggest plus side is that it's easy on my babies feet.

The last shopping trip did not have me finding my usual "Island" scented Fresh Step that I normally pick up, so decided to try the Gain Scent with Febreze. Although I like my usual scent, it can be overpowering when first adding to the litter box, so can only imagine what the cats think! The Gain with Febreze had a good scent as well, but did not affect my throat or nose as greatly. I have not noticed any urine smells, even after a couple of days if I have failed to scoop, and the cats (who immediately go into the box after I clean and add new litter) did not hesitate at all. I will definitely get his one again!

We were happy to see Gain Scent added and even happier when we tried it and we and the cats ALL love it! Thanks for improving the clumping and making clean up easier and more pleasant for me !
