[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats don't seem bothered by the scent of this litter. It also seems to control the odor of all 4 cats! The weight of the box it came in is ok, its kind of awkward.  I'll be looking for this in a jug version or the larger container. My cats are messy with litter, I swear they play in it.  Haha. So, this ended up all over my floor, which tells me it literally gets tracked all over the house. Clumps well too.

It uses febreeze and the scent of gain to control odor and it actually smells good when you add it to the cat box. There is some dust but its very minimumal in my opinion. The litter clumps very well into a hard clump, it stays clumped when scooping. My only quam is that its really heavy, but the fact that it keeps my house from smelling makes it worth the extra effort. The longevity is really good, I can wait 2 to 4 weeks before I start need to fresh. This is my litter of choice and I will continue using and purchasing it. Highly recommend this cat litter.

Excellent odor control and clumps well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prissy loves Fresh Step litter! This one does amazing at keeping odors away for a long time. 15 plus days at least! She doesn’t track litter everywhere like other litters and this has very little to no dust. No one likes breathing litter dust! The price is worth it because it works even though it’s a tad bit higher than some other brands. But you get what you pay for right!

I love Gain and frebrese

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fresh step kitty litter is great for masking odors for kitty litter boxes. The litter is easy to pour from the box. The granules are small and can be used in any type of kitty box. The box lasts for one month before it needs to be changed out. It easily clumps with liquids. The used litter needs to be dumped and never flushed down the drain.

Easy to use hides odors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m on the fence with this Fresh Step Odor Shield with Gain Cat Litter. Unfortunately, I don’t smell and sort of scent of Gain OR Febreeze. It smells like plain cat litter to me. I was hoping to be able to smell the Gain. However, it’s still a good litter. It has fine grains that’s are easy to clump and easy to scoop. The odors do stay in for a good while (about 6-8 days). The box says 15 days Guaranteed but I have a couple of cats so I didn’t expect to get 15 days out of it. I like the box size it comes in, as it will last a while. It doesn’t track and is easy to clean up. The cats seems to like it! I will need to try this a little longer before buying but overall seems to be a good litter, just doesn’t smell like it says it will. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

Where is the Gain Scent?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been trying  Fresh step odor shield with Gain, and it truly helps odors away while staying easy to scoop. The scent is fresh but not to strong. And it keeps our room smelling good. The only downside it’s very powdery when pouring into box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon using, I do like the freshness of this product. There is some dust when pouring it into the cat litter pan. There is very little mess when my cat is leaving her litter box. It lasts for about a week and a half.

Hey, guys, we all know cats are family members but they just don't like everything we like; one of those things is Febreze. My FRESH STEP CRYSTAL loving cat rushed out of her litterbox after her first & last sniff of Febreze. If you can't totally go back to original only, why not give us owners choice of crystal litter with/without it.
