I use this instead of fabric softener, which always caused a waxy buildup and sour smell in my washer. We have soft water to begin with and really have no need for fabric softener, but I liked the extra fragrance it added to my laundry. This has been the perfect solution to both problems, because now both my washer and laundry smell clean.

I had a horrible reaction to the fragrance/fragrance carrier in this stuff. I've rewashed everything multiple times; the smell is still there and has now spread to other items via the washing machine/dryer. Ridiculous that it won't come out. If you're going to make a "long lasting scent" you need to make a product that strips it out.I rated this 1 star - it's was bumped up to 2 stars
