[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this with 3 loads. When comparing the softness of these loads vs others I see no difference. I also expected these loads to smell fresher because it reduces odor and I saw no difference there as well. However, I did like that it was more of a water consistence than a gel like other fabric softeners.

Let’s just say I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the washer and the clothes actually smelled really nice! It’s not an overwhelming scent so I really like it. It does also make your clothes soft. Would definitely recommend!

I have very sensitive skin and it didnt cause me to have any breakouts after sleeping in my bed after washing the sheets and blankets with it. It also leaves your clothes super soft feeling.

We could already tell a difference in the first load in the scent, it smelt a lot better already, the clothes already felt better, they felt a lot cleaner and fresher, and they even looked some brighter! I’m already loving this stuff!

I love this product it works amazing and gets rid of the smells on clothes. I am not crazy about the bottle or pour spout.The bottle is hard to pick up and pouring it makes a mess . The see through bottle is great but definitely need to redesign the bottle and pour spout.

It leaves my clothes soft and takes away the musty smell after leaving them in the washer too long! It is one of the best scents that I have smelled in a long time from Downy!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Downy Rinse & Refresh on my all our clothing, towels with a mildew residue smell, and my hubby's dirty work clothing (he is a postal worker), and have found that it works great! It left the clothing and towels with a nice, subtle, clean fragrance. In addition to eliminating all offensive odors, It also left the clothing/towels nice & soft. Very simple to use...add it to fabric softener dispenser in lieu of fabric softener. i wish that it had a measuring cap or a guide related to amount to use. It just says fill the dispenser. I love the product and it will now be a staple in my home. Recommended!

Enter Downy Rinse & Refresh. After using the Rinse & Refresh on my doggy smelling blankets, I noticed a decrease in the smell I was trying to get rid of, and a hint of the cool cotton smell of the product. I wouldn't say it was able to completely eliminate the offending odor, but it did help in reducing it even more than regular laundering does.
