I was using white vinegar to strip residue and odors from our towels, but this has made me a convert. My towels were noticeably fresher and felt softer. This works so well and leaves such a nice scent in ways that DIY solutions like vinegar just can’t. I will be stocking this in my laundry room and using it for all my laundry. Very pleased with the results. Also, one family member has very sensitive skin (thus why we had to discontinue using our a lot of common fabric scent booster options), and this is perfectly gentle and suitable for them.

It's like water so be careful the liquid will just pour out. There are no directions for use to let you know how much you should use, so I just use 2 capfuls in the wash.

Add a little bit to your rinse cycle and it works really well to knock out any lingering odors. The scent is fresh and not too overpowering. Nice to have on hand for when you need that extra kick in your laundry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn’t wait to try this because I love Downy! I used it on my husbands pretty dirty work clothes over the weekend. He clothes were refreshed they smelled good I would definitely choose this over some of the other strong smelling detergents that I have tried. The liquid looks like water, it is not thick, it is not a softener, it works just a a refresher. The only thing that I really do not care for is that you need to use pretty much for one load. I would say about a cup per load.
