The odor would not always come out and still had a slight smell that lingered. I decided to use the Downy Rinse and it help with the odor the very first wash. My son immediately noticed the difference after picking it up to put them on. He loves the cool cotton smell. I even use it on my cleaning rags and I am very pleased and excited that they are fresh smelling. I feel that is a plus when cleaning my houses. This is a great product in my opinion!

I tried it on a load I left in the washer on accident over the weekend and they came out smelling amazing! Love that this product removes residues rather than just trying to cover up odors with scent. I can’t wait to try to refresh some old towels! I’m really not sure if it’s intended to go in every load, or just the old musky ones, but I guess we’ll see!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have added this rinse to a few load of wash. It smells good and is easy to add in the fabric softener slot in the washing machine. The laundry smells clean and I hope it lasts. I also hope I can wash my clothes less often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy Rinse and Refresh Cool Cotton smells really good. I add it to my works clothes wash and it works. Can't go wrong with Downy products. The scent is very clean and not overwhelming. I would definitely recommend.

Nowhere on the label is it made clear how much of the product should be used. “Filling the fabric softener dispenser…” Well, my machine doesn’t have one! Should I use a teaspoon? A tablespoon? A cup? The whole bottle? Tried scanning the code, but that didn’t work either. Ridiculous!

Because honestly I use my dry towel more than a couple times so when it gets wet it can leave a smell but with this product it leaves it smelling fresh a lot longer vs your regular detergent. Definitely will be buying plenty more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't say enough good things about this product. It smells so good for one. And for two it's a sanitizer too. Use it like fabric softener. I've noticed a difference in my laundry. This stuff cleans and sanitizer without leaving stains like fabric softener does. I'll be buying more very soon.
