I love the cool cotton scent because it is not too strong, it is just that perfect amount of freshness. Lasting a long time after the clothes have been dried. My clothes are super soft after coming out of the drier.

Leaves your clothes so soft and it helps remove odor residue from all types of clothing. Was very pleased how it made my clothes feel & smell!! I used it on my husband’s work clothes and was actually so shocked how it made them look.. because his clothes are so nasty after he gets off work . Will definitely be purchasing more of this Downy rinse!!!

The sheets were soft, they smelled nice, but general detergent and dryer sheets do the same. I do not love that it is a liquid and it is just one more thing to add to your wash cycle. Overall, meh - not bad but not sure I would use it again.

It has a very nice smell ( Cool Cotton) that is not overpowering but makes my laundry smell great and feeling softer. I like that it is a clear liquid so I don't have to worry about any dyes against my fabrics. Can't wait to try other scents!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We tried this product on several loads of laundry, of different types - colors, whites, towels, bed linens. What we found is that in most cases, it left a nice, fresh smell and generally worked as a fabric softener should. That said, we a load of towels that have a very stubborn mildew smell every time they get wet from accidentally being left to dry in the washing machine. You've probably experienced this yourself. It's a really hard smell to get rid of. And I'd say this did a pretty good job. Better than other things we've tried. Though it didn't completely get rid of it. But we're happy with the product nonetheless.

It also left them softer and brighter. Rinse and Refresh replaces fabric softener and works as a detergent booster to rinse away odors that are deeply trapped in fabrics. It doesn't just mask the odors, it removes them! I love the light, clean fragrance, and the clear bottle. Importantly, Downy is not tested on animals.
