[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my house I have a hubby who is a fireman so always has dirty, smell work clothes! I also have 2 kids and 2 dogs. Smells can linger if you don't have fresh scents. I really do love the new Downy Rinse and Refresh product; it keeps my clothes smelling nice but not overpowering. The only downside to is the fact it doesn't tell you how much to use. I like having measurements and knowing its x amount per load. I don't like to eyeball my laundry products or to use however much I feel is needed. When doing that it's easy to overuse or even underuse but I do love this product other than that.

The scent last for a few days and has a nice clean smelling scent, that makes your clothes smell fresh My clothes feel cleaner and softer. It softens hard water and gets built up detergent residue off your clothes. This is a very great product and I love it. Hope they come out with more scents.

It works really well on getting rid of odors too. I'm happy with my results. This is a nice product. I recommend this Downy Rinse and Refresh Cool Cotton.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy Rinse and Refresh Cool Cotton is supposed to remove odors from activewear according to their website. It did a great job of getting rid of that weird smell my sheets get after being stored awhile in my closets. However, it didn't take away any of the odors from my sports clothing, which is what I was really hoping it would do. The scent is VERY strong, straight from the bottle but it doesn't seem to be absorbed into the clothing. The clothes coming out of my dryer had hardly any of that scent, and it wiped out the lovely scent of my washing detergent too. So I gave it 4 stars for getting rid of the weird musty smell from my sheets, but I would give it 0 stars for NOT getting rid of ANY of the odors from my sportswear. So if your issues are must sheet, towel smells then this product is for you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Downy brand, its trusted and I know they come out with quality products, so when I had seen this new one, Downy Rinse & Refresh I had to try it. The scent is very light so if you have a sensitivity you will be fine with it which I appreciate it. Secondly it works so well! I workout quite a bit so my clothes can have a sweaty stench to them, this removed the odor like a breeze! I highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Downey Rinse and Refresh Cool Cotton on my towels that had become hard from our hard water. They also had an "old" towel smell. The Rinse and Refresh eliminated the odor and made the towels softer. The scent is light and smells great. I'm definitely going to be using this with all my towels and other laundry!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I really wish it had a stronger scent. With that being said, I have used this on my husbands chef clothing and it really does help take the odors away...and keep them away. The scent is very nice, but very light.

I used less than the website recommended and it still made my laundry room, kitchen, and powder room SMELL. In fact, I still have nasal congestion from breathing the fumes even with an exhaust fan running throughout the wash and dry cycle. The bottle says that it contains "no heavy perfumes" but that is NOT the case.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now used this downy rinse and refresh in 4 loads of laundry. Each load of laundry has come out soft and fresh without the waxy feeling normal softners leave behind. So far it hasn't bothered any of our sensitive skin either!! I do wish the directions were more clean on how much of the product you should use per load. I use about 2 tbsp in each load and it seems to do the trick but I am sure more may be needed for extra large loads. I look forward to using this on loads that need extra odor fighting power and the extra boost.
