Having never had Nespresso coffee I visited the boutique while in Columbus, OH. I described my taste preference and the barista made a cup of Intenso and I was hooked. I hoped to get a Nespresso machine someday but my wife got me a Vertuo Pop Plus for Christmas! I did not know home-brewed coffee could be so good. Free recycling for pods is a plus.

It’s compact and comes in a variety of colors, which is perfect considering she only wants white appliances. Mine is the same machine but in black, I’ve had it for a few months now and it has saved me so much money for quality coffee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is no comparison to the original and vertuo Nespresso Machines. The quality that they brew at is second to none. Tried cheaper machines and used classic pods and they just didn’t work as well. Coffee was unpleasant. Sticking to name brand Nespresso from now on.

I just purchased a Vertuo Pop and have been playing with the sample kit and I must say; as a barista, I'm impressed. I ordered 5 boxes of 10- double espresso pack and maple pecan). I cant wait to enjoy coffee house quality creations at home at 2am or 11pm. Looking forward to the Maple Pecan too!

I've had my Pop Plus for almost a year, and overall I really like it. Of course, it makes a great cup of coffee, and it makes it fast. Other than that, here are some pros and cons: Pros 1. It has a small footprint compared to other Vertuo models, and the unique shape allows it to fit comfortably into a corner, if needed. 2. It heats up faster than older Vertuo models 3. The water tank is easy to remove and clean 4. It's quieter than older Vertuo models (although still vibrates quite a lot) 5. The pod catch bin is easy to remove and clean Cons 1. I got the gold and black color, and the gold finish is simply a cellophane film. How did I discover this? Well, I put the mug tray in some water one night to soak off dried coffee, and when I went to wash it the next morning, the gold colored film *sloughed off* leaving the steel beneath exposed. This feels really cheap and below the standard I expect for Nespresso machines. 2. Why, oh why, is the column below the spout CONVEX?? Who did this? It should be a concave curve to accommodate the shape of most mugs, or at the very least be flat. With the column rounding outward, it means you can't use mugs with any sort of inward curve at the mouth or you risk the stream of coffee not making it in, and pouring all over your countertop, instead. 3. This machine DOES accommodate XL capsules, but it has a tough time ejecting the pods when you open the chamber afterward. I've had almost every XL pod get stuck and need to be removed by hand vs sliding down into the catch bin.

I decided to get the smaller one as a replacement, and so more water refilling and capsule emptying. But it also doesn’t click to close like my old machine which still takes a bit of getting used to.

The Vertuo models are the go to machine is all 5 of our families houses. My favorite part of the morning is taking my first cup and savoring the richness.; it just starts the day of right! Easy ordering, easy ritual, pure bliss!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Get your earphones ready… this is my first Pop which replaced an older model Nespresso that I couldn’t keep running… this machine is so loud I leave the kitchen while it’s brewing… my daughter told me hers is just as loud. Great coffee as per usual but be warned, it’s like an airplane taking off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Vertuo Nespresso machine! I hope the pistachio flavored pods come back. It was my absolute favorite and I’m so sad that it is a seasonal and limited additional flavor. This would be a wonderful permanent flavor.
