But that’s not why you buy a crockpot; the lid attaches securely during transport and the rubber gasket prevents spills. The enameled container (white for easy visibility) is robust and heavy and retains heat wonderfully. I love using this crock pot.

For my review, I decided to make a recipe from the included booklet since I figured this would be a “tried-and-true” recipe. As a first-time user of a crockpot with sous vide capabilities – the Everything  Salmon with Basil Cream Sauce and it was outstanding.   I loved the digital features of this Crockpot and appreciated having the ability to control both the temperature and cooking time. I’m used to the traditional Crockpot settings of Off, Low, and High. The number of additional settings are fantastic.   It was a bit weird using a storage bag for cooking in the Crockpot and it felt pretty unusual at first. Since I’m mostly accustomed to traditional crockpot cooking, the concept of submerging food in a bag seemed unconventional. But once I got past the initial hesitation, I found that it actually made the cooking process convenient and mess-free.   Overall, I'm happy with my experience using this Crockpot for sous vide cooking. It's opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me, and I can't wait to explore more recipes in the future.

This programmable crockpot makes it super simple to truly set it and forget it. The capacity is amazing too, we made a roast to feed 6 with veggies and leftovers in here!

It’s like the this one, but without a carry case and with a temperature probe. First, I love how big this crockpot is. It comes with three parts and is easy to put together— just stack like Russian dolls. Next, I love how easy it is to program. It’s super easy to select your heating level and cook time and walk away. Finally, I love the temperature probe and sous vide function on the one I received! It came with sous vide bags and easy instructions on how to use them // get the air out of them. I sous vide 1.5 inch steaks and they came out PERFECT. Then I seared them for a 1-2 mins per side on the cast iron to complete them. Best steaks I’ve ever made!! My best friend has the version seen here with the carry case. It’s so pretty! The blue is very cute, and I love all the travel stuff it comes with. She brings it every game day for rotel or buffalo chicken dip! Love both of these crock pots!

The lid seals tightly, so there is no worrying about leaks or spills during traveling or moving with this pot. I do like that it has some great features such as a timer and a warmer. Very nice quality and easy to clean, as the lid and bowl is dishwasher safe. Overall, I am truly pleased with every aspect of this crock-pot. Plus the color looks amazing with my other cookware. I would highly recommend.
