[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Crockpot products ever since I reached adulthood and as far back as I remember we always had them. I have come to admire the quality, durability, and ease of use over my 50 years of age. The Crockpot 7-Quart Countdown Cook & Carry continues to reinforce my experience. IN THE BOX/ASSEMBLY – The unit was well packaged and everything arrived well protected and pretty much ready to use after some cleaning right out of the box. Included are the glass lid with clamp downs, the cooking chamber, the unit itself and the instruction manual which includes some quick recipes! USE – Use, as I have come to expect from Crockpot was super easy and straight forward, on plugging the unit in the high, low and keep warm lights will all come on. Simply choose which option with the Select button and then use the up or down arrows to set a time and THAT'S IT! We cooked a 3lb pot roast immediately on receipt for six hours on high and everything came out simply amazing! The roast literally fell apart and the vegetables were perfectly cooked! I LOVE the clamp down lid for travel use, note that you DO NOT clamp the lid during cooking, the seal is perfect and should prevent spills during handling and moving the crockpot! FINAL THOUGHTS – I cannot say enough about the simplicity and quality of the Crockpot 7-Quart Countdown Cook & Carry slow cooker and for all the Crockpot products we have used over the years. I fully expect this slow cooker to be making awesome meals long after I am gone!

I bought this approx. 6 months ago. The first few times I used it, worked fine. Then today: The glass lid burst while slow cooking chili. The Crockpot was on low for 45 minutes before bursting. Never happened before! Ruined what could have been an excellent pot of chili and a lot of food!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use, cooks food well and keeps it warm for when you are ready to eat. It’s programmable, so you can put everything in and have it cook while you are out and about. The book that comes with it is helpful with different recipes.

Not only does it have so many different settings, this crockpot also came with a temperature probe that makes it so easy to easily check your contents without having to take the lid off, which I think is so great.

It is easy to use and easy to clean. I forgot my crockpot liner and made queso and thought it would be a nightmare to get it clean and it came right out. I definitely see lots of soups and stuff being made this fall and winter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this crockpot because I like to slow cook a lot of food and I also take food to parties in a crockpot. This one is absolutely fabulous. The color is beautiful, I love that the pot part is white and the shell is blue and the size and how much food you can fir is amazing! But the best feature by far is the locking lid. I had made meatballs ( 4 bags and sauce in this crock) and took them yo my sons house and the lid was ao helpful. I didn't have to worry about tapping the lid on, spills or anything of that nature. It definitely has a right seal. I would not recommend cooking with the lid locked though.

I have used it twice since receiving it and it’s such an upgrade for us and our kitchen. I love how practical it is and the features that it has. It has an included meat thermometer and very smart looking timer and settings. I also love the color that they chose to send me. Really happy with my new crockpot.

I love the lid locking feature which allows me to transport the pot to share without worry of spilling on the way. The settings are pretty standard and user friendly. The blue color is nice. The outside does get pretty hot and I would avoid touching it or setting within a child’s reach.

I recently received this 7 qt Cook and Carry, and it is a welcome addition to my kitchen. It is user friendly and pretty intuitive, even for a senior like me. The color is very nice and I like being able to just secure the lid and carry the whole thing securely in my car when I take my food to share with friends. Overall a great upgrade for me. I really like it and would recommend it to those looking for a newer bigger slow cooker.
