The HDR performance is out of this world with how the colors pop, and the intensity of the brightness, especially coming from my old LG C9. I watched Planet Earth during the day, and the picture was still amazing, even with sunlight coming through the windows. Pro tip: If it looks a little crooked when mounted, don't stress about it, and just tilt it to adjust assuming you use the provided mount. Overall, this TV delivers stunning picture quality and is perfect for anyone who wants a truly immersive viewing experience.

Newer tech means more accurate colors, lower energy consumption and brighter overall picture compared to previous generation. So LG improved in every important measurable metric. Only negative is the limited feature set with the included TV remote - which I think is a downgrade. If you have the TV connected to a A/V receiver then it won’t matter. But if you have multiple devices directly connected to the TV then the limited remote becomes a hassle.Thankfully you can use the LG app to control the TV. But the core TV feature set - displaying excellent picture - is the best so far when it comes to OLEDs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best TV money can buy right now. An 83-inch G5 wall-mounted TV is an immediate living room conversation centerpiece. Comes with 4 HDMI 2.1 ports, easy access to HDMI eARC in HDMI Port 2, Dolby Vision, the highest level of image upscaling available, and integration with the S95 soundbar is the best I've seen from a television product. Make sure to call on your strongest and most technically sound friends/handymen to install. Once you are set up, get ready to watch as much Planet Earth as possible to show off to your friends and pets that you see the world in a whole new light with this thing in your life. I may not be going on vacation for another four years, but looking at this TV every day is gonna make me happier than any trip to Europe ever would.

This is our 3rd LG OLED and it is absolutely gorgeous. We have a 9 year old curved that works amazingly but the new G5 is absurdly bright and its bold colors make it a notch above the rest and an easy choice to make. It is used primarily as a gaming monitor and it does not disappoint. Highly recommended.

This is my 3rd LG TV, C2 then G4 and now the G5. Going from the C to G's was a great upgrade. I used these mainly for gaming with PC, Xbox and PS5, however the new G5 65" is an awesome streaming TV especially for YouTube and all the popular streaming apps. The Gaming is extremely good, the Refresh rate makes such a big difference, so smooth. I don't even use monitors anymore. This was on sale for Black Friday which caused me to buy it right then. Awesome TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this as an upgrade to my 77" 2019 LG OLED C9 - and wow - this TV has shown how much OLEDs have improved over the past 6 years. Brightness - this in HDR is out of this world, the contrast between the black and the display is incredible. And having been using an LG OLED for a while, I'm used to the excellent contrast Movies - the Dolby Vision capabilities along with HDR have been excellent, re-watching some of the IMAX movies I've seen have been super enjoyable Sports - watching some Thursday night football from Amazon in 4k - chef's kiss - we could see every blade of grass on the field and the motion was super fluid, there is no comparison Gaming - having proper VRR and 120hz gaming is so nice, the PS5 shines on this gaming experience Overall this has been a wonderful upgrade into the current generation of OLEDs and I will continue to use LG OLEDs (I have 3 now!) as my primary TVs for movie, sports, and gaming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've become a huge LG fan for the past five years after going from a C2 OLED to the out of this world G5 OLED. There is simply no comparison as the G5 is like a work of art. I cannot belive how literal works of art look like they are still in the museum on the G5! Set up is very easy, and if you have a receiver and amazing speakers, this will work hand in hand. The speakers on the G5 are really great, but nothing beats having a quality receiver and speakers to get the most. The better the sound, the better the picture qualiy shines through. We all know that in theaters audiences will forgive a under quality picture screen, but the minute the sound gets wonky, they will scream out about it. This is my early holiday gift to myself and family (but who am I kidding, it's all for me!) and it has gotten me in the holiday spirit much earlier than usual. So picture quality, value, and sound quality all get high marks for me. If you're feeling like you need a real treat (and serve one) this year, the G5 will check all the boxes for you.

Beautiful picture, better brightness, and amazing contrast. If you are thinking about purchasing just do it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this for about 4 months. Very happy with it. Picture quality is amazing. For how I use it the connectivity is adequate for needs. If a had a gripe it would that you definitely need a sound bar otherwise the sound is a little thin for my liking.
