The picture is bright and vibrant without looking overly processed, and the contrast provides good detail in both darker scenes and brightly lit content. Screen uniformity has also been very good, with no distracting bright spots or uneven areas during normal viewing. The most impressive feature is the upscaling. Lower-resolution shows, older movies, and streaming content look noticeably sharper and cleaner than I expected. It obviously cannot turn everything into true native 4K, but Samsung's processing does a phenomenal job of improving detail and making older content look great on the larger screen. The interface is generally responsive, apps open quickly, and navigating through menus is simple. My only complaint is that every few months the TV seems to become laggy and increasingly unresponsive. It will eventually crash and restart itself, after which it usually works normally again. It does not happen often enough to outweigh the positives, but it is frustrating when it does. Overall, the brightness, contrast, uniformity, and especially the upscaling are excellent for a TV in this price range. Considering the picture quality, smart features, screen size, and affordable price, the U7900F offers a lot of value. Despite the occasional software slowdown, I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced 4K smart TV.

The responsiveness of navigating the menus is superb. If you're in the market for a TV and want to make a good investment, I would look no further than Samsung. Our newest Samsung TV sits in our guest room and is always a nice addition when our guests come to visit. The vibrant colors, contrast, and brightness are always mentioned when someone visits. Personally I love the upscaling and responsiveness of the UI compared to many other model televisions out there today. We have not had any issues with either so far. We plan to purchase another sometime this year for another room. The picture , ease of using the apps, and the overall operation of our Samsung television is great. I thought the upgraded remote would be difficult for me but it is so easy to use. I definitely recommend Samsung televisions.

This TV has a great picture and is a nice upgrade from the 65” to the 75” My only issue is the Samsung soundbar I had drops out from time to time. You have to navigate to the menu and switch back to the tv speaker. As soon as you hear the sound from it you can go back to the soundbar. It's an aggravation but it doesn't happen very often, maybe twice a week. Even with that I will buy another Samsung tv when needed. Maybe the 100 incher.
