I have used All Free & Clear for many years due to a severe fragrance allergy. I also have a sensitivity to certain chemicals that are often present in cleaning products. I am disappointed because the last time I purchased this product, I could detect a very slight smell and after I did a load of laundry, I had a reaction to one of my nightgowns that I washed. I can't use it anymore, so I am testing different brands free & clear laundry detergents. Arm & Hammer has the same slight smell and I can't use it, either. I hate that I can't use this anymore because it was a winner for so long! I wish I knew exactly what changed and why!!

This is often available at a reduced price, probably because its likely to be a one-hit buy for most people, and they a unlikely to be repeat buyers. After making the mistake of buying this, in an effort to save a few bucks, I unequivocally can say I won't make that mistake again. This does not remove odors. If you have a child in diapers, and experience diaper leaks, expect that your child's clothes will still stink after using this. Dirty socks going into the wash? You will still have dirty stinky socks post-wash if you use this detergent. If your clothes and linen never smell when dirty, then this might be ok for you. If you are one of us stinky mere mortals then then take those extra $s that you might save when buying ALL's Free Clear and buy something that actually will be a detergent for your laundry.
