Blacks are truly black, colors look natural not oversaturated, and HDR content looks like something you’d see in a high-end theater. The brightness surprised me too. Most OLEDs struggle in bright rooms but this one holds up perfectly during the day with windows open.

Once it’s on the wall, the ultra-sleek design practically disappears, and when you power it on, the picture quality is on another level. Motion is incredibly smooth, and movies or sports feel cinematic, especially in a dark room where it genuinely delivers a theater-like experience. The brightness on this Tandem OLED panel is unbelievable—it matches the intensity of my old TV but adds perfect blacks and contrast. The picture is flawless with zero "dirty screen effect," and I could not be happier with the picture quality. I paired it with the LG S95AR soundbar system, and the integration is seamless. It’s a genuine leap forward for OLED tech, the contrast, color saturation and natural presentation are out of this world. If you care about picture quality – then this TV is a no-brainer. My entire family was stunned when it went up in ut living room- there is a 3D effect to the overall picture that draws you in. Sports are so life like- almost a coaches view of the games. My son connected his PS for gaming and was floored by the realism, color and contrast. In essence, this is the best TV I have ever seen and I am thrilled that it sits in the middle of my living room.

Comes with 4 HDMI 2.1 ports, easy access to HDMI eARC in HDMI Port 2, Dolby Vision, the highest level of image upscaling available, and integration with the S95 soundbar is the best I've seen from a television product. Make sure to call on your strongest and most technically sound friends/handymen to install. Once you are set up, get ready to watch as much Planet Earth as possible to show off to your friends and pets that you see the world in a whole new light with this thing in your life. I may not be going on vacation for another four years, but looking at this TV every day is gonna make me happier than any trip to Europe ever would.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a beautiful LG G4 OLED, but the G5 is even better! Stunning contrast, color, and brightness, its picture is exquisite and striking. No other TV tech can compete with OLED for picture quality and deep immersion, and LG remains at the very peak of OLED quality and features. A couple stumbles in the G5's original firmware have all been seamlessly corrected, and the G5 provides a higher fidelity and better Dolby Vision viewing experience than any other brand or TV. Get an OLED, get the G5, and never look back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is to help anyone that uses a G5 with a games console, there is currently an issue linked to HDR and 120hz handshake issues and the TV going into standby. This becomes very annoying when you have to power the TV back on wait for the screen to refresh with a another blank screen and then the picture resets back to normal, this isnt an isolated incident so you will have to perfom the same steps at somepoint again. From my tech experiece its the TV and could be linked to a firmware version as HDR has been an issue for others after reading more into it, apart from that its a great TV but LG need to get the fix underway as it makes it unplayable for me personally however trivial it might sound to others. Next fimrware due on the 18th December so fingers crossed.

I find out they took it down before 12/28 (entry deadline). Now you cannot even submit one anymore. I will consider returning this now as a result. Very disappointed in LG as this is my first LG TV product.
