When there's explosions and intense scenes, you feel it. The Primary RGB Tandem OLED panel is spectacular. We have our G5 in our living and we never have to close the curtains to enjoy our beautiful TV. The LG G5 is well equipped keep up with your latest gaming needs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as an upgrade to a 65 inch CX OLED. The picture is brighter and sharper in HDR mode and has been awesome so far with movies and gaming. The tv speakers are ok, but I pair with a surround sound system. The remote doesn’t have an input button, so switching between inputs is a little clunky. Minor inconvenience for the overall viewing quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the OLED65G56LS in the house for a week now, and yeah… it’s the kind of TV that makes you want to rewatch everything just to see what you’ve been missing. First thing: the picture is unreal. Proper deep blacks — not “dark grey pretending to be black.” Actual black. And because of that, everything else pops without looking fake. Faces look natural, colours look rich, and you don’t get that weird glow around bright objects in dark scenes. It just looks clean. Motion is spot on too. Fast scenes stay sharp, sports looks smooth, and it doesn’t turn people into blurry ghosts when they move too quickly. I notice that stuff straight away, and this handles it well. Sound-wise, it’s better than I expected for a thin TV. I’m not saying it replaces a full sound system, but for normal watching it’s clear, it’s got decent punch, and dialogue doesn’t get lost when a show decides to throw background music at you like it’s the main character. Also: it’s a proper nice-looking TV. One of those that actually makes the room look better instead of just being a big black rectangle hanging there. The design feels solid and premium. So yeah, if you want a TV that feels like a bit of an upgrade every time you switch it on, the OLED65G56LS does that. I’m genuinely chuffed with it.

The blacks are absolute, the colors are vibrant and realistic, and the brightness is more than sufficient for any environment. The thin, minimalist design (Gallery Design) makes it look like a work of art on the wall, even when it's turned off. The combination of the massive 97-inch screen with LG's α9 (Alpha 9) processor results in a sharp, fluid, and incredibly immersive picture. Watching movies in 4K HDR or gaming is an experience I didn't know was possible to have at home. In summary, it's a premium product that delivers everything it promises and more. For those who demand the best quality and have the budget for it, it is the perfect choice. I am 100% satisfied!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG G5 OLED is an incredible TV. It has perfect blacks along with the brightness of an LED. This is hands down the best OLED on the market. I have previously owned three different version of the LG C series TVs, and this has by far the best picture quality (Dolby Vision), higher refresh rate for gamers and all of the built in apps you could want. The preset picture modes are great, and one new cool feature is you can customize your own picture mode based on your personal preferences, which is a good addition. The upgraded brightness and sleek wall design of the G series compared to the C series is definitely worth it if you’re a tv enthusiast. The only con (besides the higher price point) is the remote control doesn’t work as well as prior models, but can still get by. You can also connect an Xbox controller directly to the TV through Bluetooth which is a cool wow factor and play games directly through the TV via cloud gaming. Overall am very happy with the TV and would recommend it! The built in tv speakers are pretty good for a tv, but would highly recommend getting a compatible Dolby Atmos capable soundbar as well to take advantage of the best quality sound available.

The resolution, graphics, refresh rate are top notch. Compared to my previous LG which Ive had for 4 years and was also the top model, beats it hands down. The range of features including the adaptive AI that can alter and tweak your sound and visuals as you play or watch something is amazing. The connectivity is also so easy to setup. I would definitely recommend this TV, my wife is trying to get me to move it to lounge, instead of the mancave, as she is also impressed, but she has my old one...🤣👍 which is good enough for emmerdale and corrie...
