I am day 3 into my squeezable purchase and continue to be disappointed. I live in CO and it dries out very quickly so I am reapplying more than usual. I like that they tried to improve the balm because I was also disappointed with the balm sticking to the cap when nearing the end of use however whatever ingredient goes into this to make it squeezable is causing my lips to dry frequently. And as one reviewer wrote, when the balm is applied and on it is much greasier feeling than the balm. I'm a big fan of Burt's and enjoy the Original the best an am hoping they will get this next generation product right.

I took this lip balm with me on a Mount Rainier climb. I applied it constantly but ended up with a severe sunburn on my bottom lip for the first time in my life. I was very surprised to find that, unlike competitor's products, this lip balm makes no claim of providing any sun protection whatsoever. I find this pretty ridiculous when I can get SPF 50 protection in a drugstore lip balm that costs 1/4 of the price. I like natural products but this will affect my future buying, and I hope my days of pain serve as a warning to those looking for sun protection: look elsewhere.

I do not know where my family's lips would be like if we did not have the Beeswax Lip Balm. Chapstick has no idea on how to be a lip balm compared to Burt's Bees Lip Balm. It is moisturizing and lasts longer than most name brands on the market today. We have lip balms stashed in every vehicle, backpack, bathroom/kitchen drawers, nightstands and near computers in the house. It has last through beach/camping/ski vacations in our family and we will never leave the house without it!!

I used to swear by Chapstick (Strawberry) but found that more often than not, my lips would peel if I wore it too much. I've never had this problem with Burt's Bees and love the pepperminty smell. It makes me feel good and my lips have never looked or felt better. I've not bought Chapstick brand since I bought this!

I decided to try this product because my lips were really chapped, always happens this time of year (fall/ winter). Ive been using this product for about a week, my lips are 100% better, so soft, no more chapped lips. My husband hates kissing me when i have chapped stick on and he didnt even realize i was wearing it. I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!!

I have been using this lip balm for years it is truly the best balm ever it is non drying and keeps my lips moisturized I keep one just about everywhere car, bedstand , in my locker at work,purse etc. I would truly reccomend this product to anyone and everyone they make really good products

I love this stuff, it's the best lib balm out there, but the reason I give it only a "fair" overall rating is the amount you get in the tube. Only about 1/4 of the tube actually has product in it. I just opened one and recently it accidently unscrewed all the way to the bottom and it looked like there was almost no product in it. And it was brand new, I hadn't used any yet. Not very environmentally friendly to have so much packaging and so little actual product.

I've been using the Burt's classic peppermint lip balm for so long I can't remember when it all started. All I know is that I can't live without it. There's one in my purse, one in my gym bag and one by my bed - can't sleep without it. Now that the cold season caught up to me I found myself using it to soothe my poor nose from all the kleenex irritation. THEN I found myself at work with an extremely dried out nose, painfully dry. Living in the desert of Arizona is never easy but having a cold makes it impossible. So I pushed up the lip balm and then with my finger took that portion of the product onto my finger tip and then rubbed it between by thumb and index to soften and warm it and... yes, applied it to the inside of my nose. yup. I know it sounds very odd to say the least but it really relieved my painful dryness and also made me breathe easier because the minty vapors cleared my congestion quite a bit. So that's my story, a little graphic but I figured I would share in case anyone else got caught in that situation and needed some nasal relief. Just so you know -- usually I'm very sensitive to menthol-type fragrances and oils on my skin. I can't use peppermint castile soap for that reason. Burt's Bees peppermint has never bothered my skin - even when I don't have hand lotion nearby and I apply it to the back of my hands to moisturize. It's a lifesaver.

A few years ago I borrowed this lip balm from a friend and I have never stopped using it. In a pinch I have had to buy other brands and I am always severly disappointed. I recommend reading the labels as there are a few. for instance there is a specific one for lifeguards that is great for beach sports or snow sports where the sun is an issue, but this one is best for everyday use. I will never use anything else.
