What a disappointment. I was expecting something made of beeswax to be soothing, but when I tried it, it burnt my lips. Turns out there is a lot of mint or menthol in it. Couldn't wait to rub it off. Also very drying. There was not a word on the tube about it containing mint. Just beeswax. Otherwise I never would have purchased it.

All the new lip balms are good too, but I just keep coming back to the original. It's fantastic and I haven't used anything but Burt's Bees since I found it.

This was one of the first lip balms I tried from Burts bees. After the first use... I knew I would NEVER use another brand for lip balm. My husband uses some other brand, and I've been trying to get him to cross over for the longest. My 6 year old always has one of these in his pocket : ) . I keep one in every purse, there's two in the car, and always two in my pocket.

Burt's Bees never fails me. I've been using this lip balm for 12+ years now and it is my favorite and I always come back to it. Incredibly moisturizing, conditioning, refreshing, and long lasting. Love this lip balm, it has saved my lips! Please never discontinue!

This was my first Burt's Bee product I got and I love, Love, LOVE this stuff. It goes on smooth and makes your lips feel tingly and amazing. Like with most lip balms you don't have to reapply this every 5 minutes and you see a difference with the condition of your lips. Mine used to be very chapped and would sometimes crack, but now they are smooth and moisturized. Great stuff! And did I mention how much I love the scent and taste?! :)

I've been using Burt's Bees Lip Balms and Shimmers for a number of years now. I always trusted their ingredients to be of high quality and safe. For some reason I checked the list of ingredients the other day and was shocked to see "canola oil" in these products! Canola oil is an unsafe product and I will not have it on my lips because it's ingesting it, nor will I cook with it. No more lip products for me!

This is the first product I tried from Burt's Bees many many years ago. My friend recommended it to me, and I've been using it ever since. I have lots of these balms around. Minty fresh for fresh breath, and I can feel it's taking care of my lips too. I love how it's naturally made and goes on easily without leaving any slimy finishes or mess. Very neat, simple, and effective.

I used to use this product every night for months and it was really hydrating. I then made a switch over to Lush Cosmetics lips balms and didn’t use Burt’s Bees for months. Decided one day I would buy some to have in my purse for easy use since Lush ones only come in tins, which can get messy when applying. Used it once and woke up the next day with very dry lips that turned into a cold sore that lasted weeks! I’ve read other reviews with people who have had similar reactions so they must’ve changed the formula. I haven’t had an outbreak since I made the switch and will never be using this product again.

this is hands down the best lip moisturizer that i have ever used. i love the burning sensation that a couple other reviewers have complained about. i prefer the tin over the tube, but will use either! it goes on very smooth. my lips stay moisturized for a relatively long time, in comparison to chapstick, which i have to put on every few minutes. i can go a few hours before i notice my lips starting to dry again.
