I bought this on a whim.. I wouldn't use it regularly but while using other lip products I developed an allergic reaction on my lips. I started using it since it was the most natural and eventually everything cleared up. I always wear it as a base before putting anything else on my lips and using this has helped me realize that I should start using more natural products.

Burt's Beeswax Lip Balm was the first product I ever used from Burt's and it permanently hooked me! The Beeswax Lip Balm lasts a long time, makes your lips feel soft and natural, and the peppermint oil gives a little tingling sensation that lets you know the product is working. What an amazing lip balm!

I love the feel and smell of it. I like that there's no sunscreen in it because I slick this on before bedtime a lot so there's no reason to have the sunscreen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first tube of Burt's Bees about 8yrs ago and haven't use anything else since then. It keeps your lips moist and supple ALL DAY, plus it's not overly shiny or glittery (other companies think it's 1998 still, apparently!). It's multi-functional too - I use it to condition my eyelashes and even smear it over a pimple when I'm trying to cover it up (works as a primer and kind of numbs it). I recommend it to everyone who will listen and they're never disappointed! BEST LIP BALM EVER!!!!

I too have used Burt’s bees for years!! I loved the peppermint smell and tingle!! But the last time I used it my lips reacted in a negative way. They were red, itchy and swollen! I have had to go to the doctors twice and now have discontinued use of this product. Not sure what is diff but something definitely is.

This is my favorite lip balm, but unfortunately half or more of the tubes in each package fail to retract, making the product far less neat and convenient to use. I hope that the manufacturer will correct this problem. Meanwhile I am in the market for alternative brands.

I really love this lip balm. It was the first Burt's Bees purchase that I had ever made and is what first hooked me on their product line. This lip balm feels so good on. It's very cooling, refreshing, and soothing to chapped, dry lips. The smell is fantastic, and reminds me of peppermint patties...yum! Peace. ;)

Your new lids are ridiculously thin, they crack upon first removal and then don’t fit properly any longer. Old square edged lids won’t fit the new tubes either. Don’t use the excuse you’re trying to use less plastic-it’s a money grab. After over 30 years of use, seriously considering changing brands….

What more to say... classic Burt's Bees: natural, works perfectly, great texture, with a truly special original touch, the tingly feel and peppermint flavor. Though it's not my favorite BB's lip balm (honey lip balm is my favorite), it's a great product, a great value, and I've converted my whole family to it. It's my brother's favorite. Most important point: it does not feel heavy like other petroleum-based lip balms that give me headaches, and it still stays on great!
