I have another c camera that allows to insert a memory card. And I can control my data. I do not like the idea of uploading my feeds to the cloud

I wanted it to be something that wasn’t part of my doorbell - that people couldn’t see. I have it up in a tree facing my front door - very inconspicuous. It’s so small and love that feature! It takes such great images and is so clear - even at night! And the audio was a great bonus too! Very easy to install, charge, set up and happy that’s it’s battery powered so it doesn’t need an outlet nearby. I feel safe and secure now when I’m home alone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have loved the Arlo Pro 6 so much that we are planning on replacing our security doorbell from another brand with one from Arlo. It was very easy to install. The battery took about 12+ hours to charge at firs,t but after almost a week it’s still at 90% The catch is I discovered that it lasts a lot longer if you set a schedule. It’s so good at sensing motion and has such a good wide range that it was picking up our neighbors playing in the street and the battery seemed to be going down quickly. Once I had the schedule set up, the battery life greatly improved. It seems to be doing fine with the rain that I get where I live, it is under an overhang though so that helps. The video quality is excellent on my phone…I am especially impressed with the quality of the color night vision. It works much better than I thought it would. Great product for sure!

If you’re looking for a high-end option with strong feature set and good image quality, this might be a great fit. But it comes with a few trade offs. Its pretty price, and you need to sign up for their subscription. There are several aspects that I really liked about the camera. The image and video quality it excellent. It has HDR and 2K resolution, which helps in balancing bright and dark areas, making details like face and cars more distinguishable. It has a wide 160° view, which helps with fewer blind spots. It has great night vision which allows you to see colors. Overall all the camera is a great new feature for our outdoor area.
