The video quality is clear day and night, and the wide viewing angle cover more area than I expected. Set up is quick and I like that it is wireless and weather-resistance, so placement is flexible. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have loved the Arlo Pro 6 so much that we are planning on replacing our security doorbell from another brand with one from Arlo. It was very easy to install. The battery took about 12+ hours to charge at firs,t but after almost a week it’s still at 90% The catch is I discovered that it lasts a lot longer if you set a schedule. It’s so good at sensing motion and has such a good wide range that it was picking up our neighbors playing in the street and the battery seemed to be going down quickly. Once I had the schedule set up, the battery life greatly improved. It seems to be doing fine with the rain that I get where I live, it is under an overhang though so that helps. The video quality is excellent on my phone…I am especially impressed with the quality of the color night vision. It works much better than I thought it would. Great product for sure!

The Arlo camera set up went perfectly, it was easy to install and the app was intuitive. All you need is a few minutes to familiarize yourself with it. This camera is excellent quality! I couldn't believe how clear the picture is. It is clear day or night- both views are easy to see. I've been using the camera to aim outside my garage so I can see the area in front of my house. It has been ideal for that. The notifications are quick to notify you when someone pulls up and easily identifies cars versus people. We own several other security devices and Arlo is on par or better than the other ones on the market today. I've been very happy with it and can't wait to get another one!

I am mounting it on my house this weekend and the instructions on that part are pretty self explanatory. Easy to remove the camera for recharging. It has very good graphics on the camera

The battery does need to be removed from the camera and charged prior to installation. The charger plug is the same as the new usb plugs for iPhone and android which is so convenient as I have multiple in my home already. Everything on this camera is user friendly and simple to understand. The larger round button opens the camera to remove the internal battery when recharge is needed. I also love that the head can be tilted and turned once it is installed, no need to unscrew the camera to prefect the angle, just tilt. Lastly, the picture is so clear. The photo I posted was at night when it was fairly dark outside so I love how clear the picture is. Definitely happy to know I have a camera I can count on!

The app isn’t as smooth or reliable as it should be, and the motion detection only picks up movement directly in front of the camera. It also triggers a bit too easily with random objects. My biggest disappointment is the subscription even with it, the cameras only record when motion is detected instead of continuously. The video quality is okay, not great, but the night vision works well. I haven’t tested the weather resistance yet since they’re mounted under a roof. So far, they’ve done their job, and we even ordered four more to cover the rest of our house, but we might look for a stronger system in the future. The installation was very easy.

I have another c camera that allows to insert a memory card. And I can control my data. I do not like the idea of uploading my feeds to the cloud
