[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this monitor is the best 3d I have seen. The glasses free is so much more natural. I saw this thing in the store and the group I was with were really stunned at how good the 3d is. The 3D YouTube videos even look nice. I have it next to my Samsung 27inch OLED gaming monitor. Although it doesn’t have quite the black levels as the oled( who does) the rest of the picture is vibrant and clear. Fun for games. I wish 3d movies were available. The built in Speakers don’t have much bass but are clear sounding.

Didn't get the last star because it's extremely expensive. But it even looks nice powered off on my desk. 😁

Unfortunately, From time to time it is a struggle to get it to sync with the games and I am not sure if a recent update broke it but it is getting harder and harder to have the games actually launch in 3d. The front facing cameras little red light does not always come on when the 3d hub is launched and its very obvious that it isn't working as advertised. Hopefully after a few more updates and support time this will be the next go to for gaming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely stunning display. Colors are vibrant, and it is very sharp and crisp, this is the best screen I have seen this year. It is surprisingly very light as well, lighter than my old 27” monitors. The stand allows to adjust height and also orientation which is pretty good. I had mine mounted though, since I already have setup. One of my concerns with specialized screens is whether the added features compromise standard use, but that's not the case here. The 3D filter, when turned off, does not get in the way at all; you wouldn't even notice the monitor has this special 3D capability, ensuring an uncompromised 2D experience for everyday tasks and content. Speaking of the 3D capability, it is absolutely mind-blowing. The glasses-free experience is a significant leap forward, eliminating the discomfort and inconvenience of traditional 3D glasses. You just need to be sitting relatively stable. The cameras on the monitor track the eyes and renders 3D like magic. And it is very, very good. This is something you have to see for yourself, since I can’t really show that on camera. There are handful of games officially supported by Samsung for the 3D effect. It also allows any full screen window (game or video) to turn into 3D, although the effect if a bit less dramatic than the officially supported games. Speaking of compatibility, that’s where the monitor falls a bit short. The 3D effect is achieved through Samsung’s proprietary software which is Windows only at the moment. I tried connecting my PS5 and the 3D effect was not available. It officially supports in about 10 games at the moment. Although the 3D effect is very good, I feel the number of supported games seem a bit lacking. Full screen can also be converted to 3D through their software, however the effect is a bit less dramatic than officially supported games, and a very powerful GPU is needed to run things this way. I have 3080 which is listed as minimum requirement for 3D conversion, the process bogs down quite significantly and I was not able to get smooth experience as the officially supported games. I wish Samsung would find way to officially support large library of games as that would provide the best experience. Also I wish the monitor could show 3D natively and not through the proprietary software. Despite some of shortcomings, this is a very high quality monitor with awesome 3D features. For users with a capable Windows machine and a recent high-end GPU, you simply won’t find another 3D monitor that delivers a better glasses-free experience than this. It’s a glimpse into the future of immersive displays.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very well done monitor that produces a remarkable 3-D image. Even though it is an IPS display, it produces very nice colors and has a good response time. The only thing that is currently letting this monitor down is the small amount of 3-D games that are verified by Samsung to work with this monitor. The ones that are there have really nice 3-D but Samsung will need to keep working on getting new games added to their verified list, especially new releases (maybe work with game developers to ensure 3D is considered from the beginning). Also PLEASE add a way to add 3D backwards compatibility to older games via the Samsung 3D Hub app that might not be officially verified, but so we can try playing those in 3D. That would increase the versatility and enjoyment of this monitor ten-fold.

I play a variety of intense and slow paced games that this monitor has no issue keeping up with since it has a 165Hz refresh rate. My games are always crisp and stutter free. The 3D features, like AI 3D video conversion and glasses-free 3D, my games and movies also come to life on the screen. Sometimes I feel like I am in my games., which is further enhanced by the spatial audio feature. The sound just wraps around me. The Reality Hub has been great feature for checking out some new games and I love that the edge lighting on the screen expands the visuals of the games.

After several trial-and-error configurations, plugging in the USB connector along with HDMI finally got the app working, unlocking its full potential.

This is hands down the best 3D monitor I've ever used. It is definitely pricely, but it honestly blew me away how crispt the image stays in 3D! Worth every penny for a 3D experience. The depth is really good, and the eye tracking is almost perfection. In the official software, only specific games work. ⚠️You will have to put in a little bit of work to get unsupported games working ⚠️. If you are familiar with game modding, you will have no issues. But otherwise the monitor offers plenty of features. But if you follow guides written by the community 3D enthusiasts/contributors, you can get 3D working well in most games with 3rd party software. Through some tweaking, I am able to get unsupported games to launch in 3D, not side-by-side, and in 4K, just like the supported ones. It is a seemless experience that I hope Samsung can incorporate into more titles. But power-users can always bring it to games they enjoy. Just don't do it in competitive multiplayer titles. I am happily enjoying 3D in many AAA and indie titles in 4K. As for the AI conversion, I had no issues. Worked well for me with both a 3090 and a 5090 with current drivers as of May 2025.
