Absolutely terrible! Tasted like cooked beer. Lacked the usual rich, sherry flavor of onion soup. The cheese and bread were good. Could not eat it.

NO, NO, NO, do not buy this "soup". It is literally raw onions in some kind of liquid. Two bites were enough for me. The rest is in the trash.

I recently bought a couple of these French Onion soup kits, and in my honest opinion, I think it has a very watery soup base, and the Sherry wine that's used makes it kinda sweet, and I prefer more savory soups. The cheese also didn't melt when I added it to it after cooking. It also was a little peppery. I feel like if they had added some garlic and herbs to it, it would have tasted better.
