I found the soup had a sweet taste, but very enjoyable. The amount of cheese included, and croutons was more than I expected. Very generous! As with any prepared soup I wish there was a bit let sodium. My only problem is the package is for two bowls. I wound up enjoying both servings in one sitting! My bad! I definitely would buy again

You just don't see French onion soup much any more in restaurants or at the grocery store. I bought this because I always like French onion with cheese and bread on a cold winters day. This year we have had plenty of cold weather and I believe the soup has won a place in our pantry going forward.

Tasteless. Not good at all

Good concept, but a bit bland. I went the extra step and warmed it up slowly over a burner. Appreciate the separately packaged cheese and croutons, but thought there could have been more cheese. Two servings per pouch for a total of four small bowls.

Very heavy sherry tasting. Not a lot of other flavors come through but a rich wine taste.Also, it says serving for 4. but it's packaged in 2's. So there are 2 packs of soup (1 pack is 2 servings) 2 packs of croutons and 2 packs of cheese. So if you just want 1 bowl of soup, you have to open up all of the packages.

I had hopes for this soup as I truly enjoy French onion soup. This one is particular was gross. It taste like apple cider vinegar. Had to throw all of it away. I'm not close to Sam's, so I didn't make sense to drive back for a refund.
