The first time I tried the soup, had a little too many onions for me so with 2nd pouch I strained the onions. Soup has a lot of flavor (not sure why others say it doesn’t) and I think it is a good value for the price!

I enjoyed it. Tastes almost as good as my homemade French onion soup but it took all of 8 minutes to prepare. No cutting a 5lb bag of onions. I will buy again

Someone else said it. Like black pepper water with a few onions. For the price, leave it on the shelf. I wish I read reviews first. For convenience I was excited but this IS NOT it

Great concept, BUT....its a fail. The only flavor is pepper and more pepper. No onion flavor, no sherry, no beef, the pepper over powers any other flavor that might (and should) be there.

1 Package of cheese was almost all green with mold the other had couple spot of green. Purchased 12/5 date on package was expires January 6, so didn't even try just thru away.

it tasted nothing like french onion soup, more like peppery watery vegetable broth with onions, not even the right color it should be, it was paleish. will never buy again

I thought it was very good for what it is. If you’re expecting a crock of French onion from a nice restaurant, then get it there. I was pleasantly surprised by it and would definitely buy again

i love a good french onion soup but the onions are not cooked enough or carmelized. i took one bite and dumped it sadly.

First time I purchased this product it was excellent. This time 1 of the two soups was sourish/ rancid. Almost tasted like vinegar.
