We put the lights and started a light show. Our neighbors love looking at the lights when they come on. We still have some learning to do with all you can do with them. I would recommend these to anyone. There is so much you can do with these lights. Thank you Govee!!!

The only reason I couldn't give this 5 stars didn't really have to do with the lights themselves persay, rather with Govee. I ran into the same problem as usually with Govee string lights, the lenghts avialable. You're always either too long, or just short. Govee needs to offer like, 5' and 10' sections you can add on. They offer a 16' foot but that's drastic. What about when your just short that it looks silly but you don't want to another 50' or 100'? This is something the company needs to offer and it would make things much easier in these situations.

I really really love the lights and so many of my neighbors have been complementing me on them however, I do feel like the app is a little difficult to navigate. Maybe I am just learning, but my daughter has taught me how to do it and I still struggle a lot with it, so I wish it would be more useful friendly

Installed these outdoor “permanent"lights and they worked great for 2 months. After that they flickered randomly (not part of any setting or pattern). After contacting Govee to help with the issue they would not help unless I had a receipt (this was a gift and I am unable to get the receipt). I usually like Govee products, but I would consider other offerings.

I don't write reviews often, but with an expensive product as this, and based on my experience I felt obliged to leave some thoughts. The lights themselves look awesome, even in a heavily populated suburban area with tons of ambient lighting. Love the color options, and the white tones are perfect. The major downside, which others have experienced, is the poor adhesion of the tape. My surfaces were cleaned and prepped well, and just about every single light on my 100ft strand failed. To remedy, I used hot glue, zip ties and more. This was even more problematic on my second floor, where access was hard enough - getting there a second time and with glue and more tools was tough. All of this ended up with costs above the expected. Would I buy again? Probably. Because it's still cheaper than hiring an electrician to put in outdoor recessed lighting. However, I would go straight to glue, clips and zip ties prior to even attempting adhesive.

Really enjoying the 30m lights i got. Had to check in on the page for stock frequently but finally got lucky to see that some had become available. Installation takes a while but is pretty easy and setup with the app was very easy. Hoping to be able to get some extensions when they come available.

Followed the instructions for all 150 feet, and as a precautionary measure, we installed even more of the wire clips than they suggested. A new light falls every single day - it's insane. At this point, I assume every light will need a screwed-in clip next to it in order to stick. Of course, Govee does not provide those additional clips. For the money, It's not worth the hassle these lights have given us. Cool concept; terrible execution.

The lights are beautiful! The adhesive will not stick to stucco! We purchased construction grade clear picture power grave ultimate. Not the greatest but seems to be working ok. I will probably put a small screw with small strap to hold each light, which will be a pain but it has to be done so they won't fall off. Don't even try the adhesive in the back of each light if you have stucco. But once again the lights are beautiful!!!

Easy to put up. Sticky tape works well. App is confusing, but fun to use the preprogrammed scenes. Lights are bright and durable. Been recommending to everyone we see. Cool to be the first one in the neighborhood to have them, I'm sure it won't be long before everyone has them! Thanks govee!!

I was first looking at these last year when the original non-pro version was available. However, they were impossible to get and I didn't really like the white color. I'm glad I waited because not only does the pro version come in black, but they have dedicated white LEDs and each kit comes with 3 extensions (one 12 ft., two 4 ft.) and some very nice weatherproof splices if you need to cut/extend the lights. We don't have a solid surface under the eaves , so I had to create something. I got some 2" furring strips and painted them and screwed them in under the eaves. That gave a nice straight surface for mounting the lights. We have sort of a complex roof line in the front, so the installation took about 5 days or so for everything (About ~200 ft. worth of lights) including painting/mounting the furring strips. One important thing I will say about install is make sure you mount these about 2-3 inches from the wall! A lot of the people on Youtube that have videos installing/reviewing these lights install them way too far from the wall, closer to the gutter. This causes you to lose that curved glow that shines down the wall. The 3M adhesive on each light is ok, but it needs reinforcement IMO. The lights come with some nice screw in clips, but they only come with about 30 of them per lighting kit. This is enough for 1 clip approximately every other light. Not a huge deal, but it would be nice if Govee included enough clips to have one on each side of each light to really secure them. I ended up using zip ties on the side of each light which actually worked even better in my scenario. I also mounted the power supplies/controllers in the garage and ran the cables up and out one of the soffits in the back. Overall, I'm fairly impressed with everything and the Govee app has a lot of options if you really want to get creative and put time into it.
