These are excellent quality! Much brighter than expected, and fairly fast and easy to install. The customization in the app is pretty cool, but I wish I could do even more in-app. Still learning it, but our family, and all our neighbors enjoy and appreciate them. A few neighbors mentioned getting them for next year. Absolutely love them and would highly recommend it for others.

I can not begin to explain how happy I am with these lights. Installation was a breeze and the result was phenomenal. I bet it took me about two hours, with a lunch break in between, to hang the 100ft set. I set them roughly 3.5" away from the eve and used a bracket on the chord every 3-4 feet. When I turned them on, I was like "DOPE!" Transformed the look of my house. Also, while I was out front playing with the different scenes, my neighbor asked me what they were and where I got them. So, if you're on the fence, don't be. Worth every penny.

The lights are beautiful! The adhesive will not stick to stucco! We purchased construction grade clear picture power grave ultimate. Not the greatest but seems to be working ok. I will probably put a small screw with small strap to hold each light, which will be a pain but it has to be done so they won't fall off. Don't even try the adhesive in the back of each light if you have stucco. But once again the lights are beautiful!!!

After doing some research I purchased the GOVEE Outdoor Pro lights. Mine have been in service about two weeks. So far so good, no problems at all. They seem pretty sturdy. They are what I expected. I love being able to play around with all the different colors and patterns. They are very cool and I am a hard person to please. I am always saying to my wife I want the one thing that will do everything. I think these lights have endless possibilities. Thanks Govee.

I managed to get two 100ft strands and just finished getting them up and running yesterday. The app installation process and setup was super easy. I installed each strand one at a time and the app automatically set them up in a group. Alexa integration was very easy. The lights simply put look incredible, and are very bright. I have them set at 40% at night which lights up the entire side of my house. The Govee app needs some work. I tried setting up a schedule in the app which wouldn't work. Also, when I select the lighting group (which combines both strands) and pick a preinstalled pattern like Valentines Day, the light colors change to Valentines Day colors but just stay at static colors. I have to select each strand individually and apply the lighting effects to each strand in order for the lights to change colors and brightness according to the selected pattern/effect. I can do this in Alexa Routines however, so it works but this is a quirk. Routines however in Alexa work very well, and once I did the Alexa pairing, the controls work better than using the app alone. I have found that even though Alexa allows you to set up a routine that is supposed to set the lighting plan as well as the brightness at the same time that the brightness doesn't change. I had to set two Alexa Routines - one to change the pattern to solid soft white at 10pm for night lights, and a second Routine at 10:01pm to change the brightness to 10% (so I don't bother my neighbors at night). I want to set up my lights after 10pm using segmenting so that only certain lights would be on, but I haven't figured out a way yet to do that and have it work with Alexa. It would be helpful if there was documentation on how to set up plans and Alexa integrations. You have to just play around to see what works. Also, I would say Govee should have molded tabs with screw holes into the light bases to make it easier to screw them up if desired instead of just relying on the tape. The tape is excellent 3m tape, but it isn't going to work in all situations, and when my feet are 12ft up on a ladder in the tallest eve on my house putting these up, I don't want to be back up there again in case tape fails. I screwed each light up of the two 100ft strands individually using led clips, but molded tabs with screw holes in the bases would have greatly simplified this job. Also, I had to contact support to verify that the two strands needed to be installed in the same direction, i.e. control/lights, control/lights, or lights/control, lights/control in order for patterns to work correctly. Their documentation does not specify this anywhere I can find. Their support replied very quickly. All being said, I am extremely pleased with these, and they are well worth the money. I can't stress enough how fantastic the patterns look, and they function excellently for security lighting also. They do come with a 3 yr warranty per the included documentation (also asked Govee support for clarification on this), not 1 yr like the Govee website says. I installed mine so that at a later date when they start selling extensions, I can easily expand my two 100ft strands so I can light the back of my house also since each controller can handle 150ft. Two 100ft strands was enough to light the front and both sides of my house skipping one 12ft section that doesn't need light. I am so glad I spent the money on these to get the RGBIC and Alexa integration vs just a basic set of LED strips.

I want to give these lights a 5 star so bad because they look amazing, they were easy to install, and the app has been very easy to use. BUT the fact that I cannot buy an extra extension to properly fit my house is outrageous. There is (1) in the box, but they do not sell them separately!? Why? Every house is different, and the extensions would allow for customers to custom fit their house. Right now it is incomplete because I have no more extensions. I have had several neighbors and friends ask about the lights since I installed them, but it is a shame that no one thought to sell a simple extension separately.

I'm amazed by the affordable Govee lights. I'm a fan now and will recommend to my friends. We have a big community here. I'm sure a lot more folks will get interested. I'm half way done with the install. Will update my review once I complete the install with pics. I'm a kind off handy man so did custom changes by consealing the wires with plastic cable hide strips. Thanks guys.

A) Installed these about 20 inches from face of wall, on some wedge shaped trim so they aim back towards the wall. Light is less intense, but still puts color all over the wall (and fascia does a good job hiding the pucks from the street). B) Govee needs to offer spare extensions. Used the 12 foot one that came with the kit, but would have loved to be able to buy these separately, maybe even on that is half as long. Would give people more options for layout. Offer spare wire clips, while you're at it. C) App still needs work. For one thing, setting an automation (FYI, on at sunset) needs more customization. Able to delay past a given time, but not BEFORE. ALL of my other RGBs allow customization before sunset. Another item would be to allow user to zoom in on individual pixels for a custom lighting effect. Some of us have large fingers, or are using a phone to customize, so selecting an individual pixel can become a struggle. But... I'm happy with my install, I'm glad I purchased them. Only took a star off due to the items above, which I think are solvable by Govee.

I just finished installing 300 ft of white pro permanent lights. Connecting lights and setup, splicing was all very easy. My only complaint is with the adhesive for lights don't work long term and not enough clips for each light. I had lights falling off in less than 24 hours (appropriate prep was completed). Because I had done my research I had expected this and used the included clips at each light…there wasn't enough clips for each light as that is probably not the intention of those clips. As a DIY homeowner I don't want to have to worry about the adhesive coming off and having to get back up on ladder months or years later to fix a hundred lights when I can use screws to secure them once and be done. There should be more secure way to keep these lights maintenance free because most people won't trusts the adhesive to work long term for every light.

Really enjoying the 30m lights i got. Had to check in on the page for stock frequently but finally got lucky to see that some had become available. Installation takes a while but is pretty easy and setup with the app was very easy. Hoping to be able to get some extensions when they come available.
