These lights might seem a bit pricy but when you factor in what they can do and the robust app it would be hard to find something cheaper. The 100ft package comes with 6 strands of lights, each approximately 16.5 feet long, a 12 foot extension that can be used between strands in case you have a gap where you don't want lights. As mentioned by another review It would be nice if the cords came in different colors. The white cables do stick out on my dark gray house, it would also be nice if they sold additional power supplies and extensions separately.

So far everything works great! They have some really great features. There are some things I wish Govee would do is: 1. Sell the power supply. I used 4 of the 6… 16' lines and would have love to use those somewhere else but I can't without buying a whole new set. 2. Sell the spacer extensions for in-between spaces we don't want lights. For houses with multiple sections of the roof. 3. Grouping. In the app, you can pick any light you want to use. I have a couple things I would like to do. This is easy to do in an update to the app if they want to do it. Example:. I picked one light over each end section of the house to come on the with the timer in Blue over night. If I could group them in my favorite, I could change the colors without selecting just one light at a time. Another Example: I would like to pick every other light in a group. Color those whatever I want, then have the other group saved and color them. I develop apps and the programming should be very easy to do in this app. Don't get me wrong… These are fantastic lights and we love them. I'm just pointing out things I could have used. Hopefully Govee will see this and implement these things. Buy these for sure :-)

I am very impressed with the quality of the lights. The DIY part of the app is a struggle for me to get what I am looking for in a pattern. The assist BOT can't find anything for me but In all they are great lights. The only ring I wish was that they sent more (or had the option to buy) more clips. Thier recommended install intervals is great unless you have to make turns or elevation changes and then you need more clips. But still a great quality light.

Having these lights on our house is so much fun. We have really enjoyed having them for the past three weeks. There was not any presets for American Independence Day but using the app I was easily able to create a great-looking red, white, and blue scrolling scheme. Now that the holiday is over, I have set my lights to display a pale yellow to accent my home. My neighbors have commented on how much they enjoy seeing them. I am looking forward to Halloween and using some of the preset schemes. The installation of the lights was tricky mostly because the eaves of my house are high so there was a lot of up and down the ladder. My process I would first spray down the eave with rubbing alcohol and then wipe it down with a rag. Then I took my 2' level which was 2"wide and held it up against my siding and I drew a straight line where I wanted the lights making sure to only draw it in the area I had already cleaned. I found it much easier to install the clips and then go back and attach the 2-sided tape. I would usually do about 4 lights for every clip. Having the pencil line was also very helpful to keep the lights straight. I saw some videos online of other installs and the lights were not straight and I wanted to make sure that mine were. If there was anything I found lacking, it was the supplied clips. I like that they are mounted with 2-sided tape and a screw, but the screw was very small and difficult to work with over my head and on a ladder. I ended up purchasing some other cable clips that had a larger screw and the install was much easier. Also, if you have a lot of ups, downs, and turns you will probably need more clips than what is included. In conclusion, the install was done in about 8 hours total over two Saturday mornings. The lights look great, and we are really enjoying them. I am now looking at other products from Govee to see what else I want to use.

Only a few days in but really like it so far. Had 1 3m sticky that came loose and replaced it and all good for the first 4 days. Even customized the bulb color and that was easy too. However, 100 lights took about 3 hours to install so a bit time consuming, plan accordingly. I also did not realize it had a power brick that cannot get wet and was not prepared, make sure you have a way to keep that up and dry.

We absolutely love the outdoor lights on our house. They were easy to install and we love being able to change the colors! The only thing we have not been able to figure out is how to save light designs on the app for multiple strands linked together with different power boxes. Other than that, best investment on lights.

The family and I love our govee lights. Easy to install and the color options are phenomenal. The kids love to choose a different color almost every night. I bought 2 of these kits for my house along with many other govee lights for inside the house.

I've only installed 4/6 of the sets cause of a heavy downpour. Being 20 feet off the ground would have been a workout for a 65 year old with a ladder, so I rented a three level scaffolding unit. The hardest part was cleaning under the eaves. The installation was very fast and easy. Next set I'm having to clean and install off the ladder due to shrubbery but the final set I need to disassemble and reassemble scaffolding on the opposite side of my home. As I said before, I couldn't wait to do the full install. I had to try them out to see what it looked like. Absolutely awesome! I'm sure there's a way to control the app with two phones but I just haven't had the time to view the website instructions. Off to finish the install with the ladder!!!

The lights look great when they are in place but that proved to be a problem after just one week when they had to survive their first rain. The adhesive pads failed en masse despite being "all weather" and having the instruction followed. I wont say the blame falls 100% with Govee, there is a lot of variables in play when it comes to use adhesive pads like this including activation pressure, the material you are applying it, and (even though 3m wont say it directly) humidity. It would be nice if an alternative mounting option was supplied given the price. The lights look good, but if they aren't staying up what is the point?

The lights themselves are great! Bright, colorful. Easy to control. One recommendation would be an automatic season changer. Use the date to determine what color scheme the lights will be. Would love to set them and forget them. Losing one star for me because I have had to replace the sticky film 2 times almost on each light. It just won't stick to the painted wood awnings that I have. I have used alcohol wipes before and made sure it was dry. Probably going to be using hot glue or some super 3M tape because this won't stick.
