[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening, this seasoning has an authentic and bold Italian aroma. The fennel reminds me of old fashioned Italian sausage. I used it in a pasta tomato dish, and although it was meatless, the seasoning gave it an Italian sausage flavoring. It was savory with just a slight kick and very versatile. It was perfect in the pasta dish, and I am looking forward to seasoning meat with it also.

It's got great colors, and packaging looks nice. I would prefer a glass jar. It smells amazing! I also would rather there not be sugar in it.

I've tried it in my spaghetti and meatballs, pappardelle bolognese, and now the spicy Italian sausage with rigatoni. The addition of this spice blend greatly enhanced the flavors of all my dishes! When you smell the blend straight from the bottle, you'll stay salivating. It smells so fresh and robust. It definitely is what it says on the bottle—“freshly ground flavor”. This won't be one of those spices than sit in your in your pantry for 5+ years that start getting hard, lol. You'll probably go though this blend in less than a year because it's that's good. It has fennel in it which is knelt my favorite herb/spices to use in Italian cooking. Sometimes I'll even use fennel bulb to cook with. That spice in and of itself adds so much to dishes. Most people may not think so because of its licorice taste but….try it! The blend will be excellent on meats before searing, too. This will be a repeat purchase for sure.

A good amount easily comes out of the bottle, no need to struggle to shake. I would recommend if someone enjoyed these spices. A little strong for my liking.

I have used it in several dishes such as pasta and even in a pot of chili. It has a great flavor profile and taste amazing. It stores great in the original container and a nice size amount of spice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great flavor booster for anything Italian. Just add it to your sauce and it gives it a wonderful depth of flavor. There are a lot of spices in the blend, but it primarily adds a kick of garlic, fennel, and red pepper. I love adding it to spaghetti sauce, but it also works nicely sprinkled on pizza or layered in lasagna. I even added some to a pot of vegetable beef soup and it turned out great. The only negative thing I can think to say is that it takes quite a bit to really get the flavor going. However, the jar is quite large and should last a while. I'm not usually into spice blends (I typically just make my own as I go), but this stuff is worth checking out.

Versatile. As it's similar to traditional Italian cooking, this seasoning is perfect for pasta dishes. I've use this in tomato based spaghetti and meatballs and it really enhances the flavor. Also great in soup and stew. Large bottle lasts a long time. Good value.

You could see the various herbs in the seasoning. I used it to season a low fat cheese snack. It gave the cheese a nice flavor. I also used it in our pasta sauce to add flavor. It easily dissolved and gave it a nice flavor.
