The lights are great and bright. Wife has been bugging me for a couple years to get them. Finally caught a really good sale. A friend of mine told me to get the app and watch the sales on the because they are better. He was right. The lights are not hard to put up but require a detailed thought process of the install and layout the design with tape in the soffits before just sticking them up. I did have to but some aftermarket light clips for certain areas. Did have issues on a few with the adhesive backings. Overall the wife and daughter love them and the app. Me too

So far very impressed with govee. We want to put christmas light up since the kids are at the age where they can appreciate it. We figured if we put the lights up we would not want to have to take back down. So why not permanent light! Definitely looks spectacular! The app is great u can customize and basically do anything

These lights are easy to set up and easy to customize the length so you get that professional look! The 16 foot sections which will make any future replacements a breeze. Govee also made splicing the lights a breeze. The app is also easy to customize your lights. The old saying, “you get what you pay for” comes to mind with these lights. They are worth every penny! If anyone is on the fence about buying them, they should get off the fence and buy them.

I've been wanting to purchase the lights since last year. Waiting for Blk Friday of this year to do so. I'm so glad I did. Being the first in my block to hav them. I think I started a trend. Another neighbor bought them too. I love the year round lighting. I highly recommend them !! No Regrets!

It's only been two days since they've been installed, but I'm loving my Govee lights. They've added a festive and unique look to my house. The installer showed me how to make them work the best, from using my own program to “borrowing” programs created by others. It's currently on Candy Cane and the red and white lights are amazing. The ultimate goal was to not have to hang Christmas lights anymore and these will definitely serve that purpose. I can use them year round too which only adds to the value of these lights. Definitely looking forward to see what I can do this holiday and throughout the year.

Lights work great and set up was fairly easy, directions about the little screw clips could be clearer. We had wanted one for each light and realized we only had enough for every 4th or 5th light. Hoping we won't need more over time. The look is great and the AI feature is very nice.

The good: great installation with the adhesive and clips. Lots of options, including color selection and patterns. The bad: The app is terrible. Everything is far too complicated, not intuitive, and redundant. Specifically, I used a DIY all of December and no matter how many settings I tried, the lights would not stay one brightness. They would go all the way dark and suddenly light up 100 percent. Now I have them on one color with a simple sunrise- and sunset-based schedule. All appears to be working (although I've caught them doing the suddenly bright thing a couple of times).

They're easy to install and look great. Downside is, we have several extra strands that we can't install because the company doesn't sell separate control boxes and power supplies. We would love to add them to our back porch, however, the company would rather people buy a whole new set instead. Very annoying.
