Overall decent quality. The outdoor adhesive doesnt hold very well. We followed the instructions by cleaning the surface before installation, but it doesnt hold well at all. The installation as it is can take some time, so having to constantly come back to readhwrw them is a pain in tbe neck.. we have stucco eves, so we cant use fasteners... not sure what we'll do to resolve this...

I couldn't be more impressed with Govee Lights 2. From the moment I installed them, it was clear these lights were designed with both performance and ease of use in mind. The lights them selves are very nice. My problem is with the “sticky” backing on the lights. They are absolutely terrible and honestly for the price we pay for the lights they should include the clips we can drill in. I have had 4-5 lights come undone and will have to use the clips on amazon. Also my second story is not easy to get to as its 30 feet tall. The other issue I have is with the Govee home app. It is not user friendly and the timers are not accurate as I set it for 5 pm and they turn on at like 4:50 also I have them set to turn off at 11pm and they turn off at like 10:50. For this price it should be a perfect product.

The lights work great, and are actually brighter than I expected. The app that controls them is really quite terrible. It's an incredibly confusing interface with integrated ads for other govee products, and the simplest tasks like setting a schedule are not remotely intuitive to accomplish.

I am 68 and decided to install lights that i would not have to take down and put up working off a 25 foot ladder. These lights went up easily and ever fourth light i used the holder with screws. We put these up before the after thanksgiving daybut called them Halloween lights, they look great. The lights will be used for a low white accent lighting during off season. DID I MENTION HOW GREAT THEY LOOK?

For years, every holiday season, i would get the extension ladder out and go through the task of installing Christmas lights. You never knew what the weather would be like or whether the lights would work all season long. Flash forward to this year and I was fortunate to install my Govee Permanent Outdoor Pro's on two beautiful, warm days. Instillation was a breeze and now I have beautiful lights shining on our home. Not only will they be used for Christmas but many other times during thr year. The variety and options available are endless. If Govee doesn't allow you to create exactly what you want, I don't know who will. Thank you Govee for selling a great product.

Such beautiful, vibrant lights. I love how you can control it from your phone and the many, many different options you have. Our friends had it lit Pink for Vday and I just thought it was the cutest ever, so when we recently moved, I had to get them too! Highly recommend!!

I purchased an aluminum patio cover and had to figure out how I would put up lights since I didn’t want to drill holes into it. The stick ons worked perfectly. They put off a nice ambient light. Then I use the twist flowerpot hangers to add patio lights and It all worked perfectly.

In process of installing now. I would highly suggest purchasing some aftermarket light brackets that screw on. The 3m tape is NOT going to hold your lights up. I would also like to see clear instructions for the driver installation. Between the 5th and 6th strings sounds pretty straight forward until you get into it. What if 3 of the first 5 strings is only 3,4,5 lights long? Should it say to install after the 50th light puck? All that said, the lights seem to be of excellent quality. And the install is going very nicely after getting the aforementioned light brackets. Will update when complete.

Set aside an afternoon to install. So easy, and you’ll be happier than you imagined after you see the results. To aid in a quicker install, use a piece of cardboard to quickly get the correct distance. When cleaning the soffit, go to your local box store and get a cheap spray bottle, it will definitely speed the process up on the cleaning end.
