The 3M tape worked for about 24 hours in 75 degree weather. Directions show to hold for 5 seconds and I held it for 15 seconds and it still fell off. I pressure washed the day before and wiped off each spot like the directions show. I had to get 3D printed brackets for each light and now they are staying up great. I wouldn't count on the 3M tape sticking permanently.

I'm very happy with my purchase of these lights. I'm planning on buying more to put on the house. They are very easy to put up and if anyone is worried about them sticking on, don't be. They are very sticky and you don't have to worry about them falling.

I am really enjoying these lights. Installation was easy, lights look great on the eaves of house. The app could be more user friendly and I don't like how the lights have to be on to explore all the various lighting options within the app. But these are minor complaints and I've already ordered more Govee products because of my overall satisfaction with the product.

I have this 200 foot pro black version. I'm having issues with the extension cords not being waterproof or water resistant. I've been having glitching issues with strands not lighting up. I had an extra extension cord that came with the lights and I switched it out and the section started working again Little disappointed in that

The lights are really cool, but there are a few things that probably could be better. I didn't like the appearance of the lights upon install, and I tried a couple different places but none looked great. Hoping they come up with a brighter iteration of these lights that I can recess so they are hid den but still emit enough light to give the desired effect. In the meantime I've returned the lights as the price is hard to justify when the lights aren't perfect.

I recently purchased Govee outdoor permanent lights to outline the front of my house. I couldn't be any happier. The super gummy adhesive made the installation so easy. Just use a ruler or other object as a guide to keep the line straight and your lights will shine bright in no time. Highly recommend.

Love the lights but thinking they will hang on a house with just the sticky pad on the back is horrible. I bought platistic hangers that fit around every cube light and screwed them into the soffit. This worked great. At the price Govee charges, these types of hangers should be included. Trying to get the stings to a "white" light does not work very well. No wonder they came out with the all too expensive "pro" version.

I like the lights but I figured up how much length I needed and 50 ft would cover it. I ordered 50 ft and it comes up Short. I finished the install and ordered another 16 ft to finish where I wanted to end. Once it came in I plugged it in and it wouldn't work. The connection on the last string I put up is bad so now I have to go through and pull down the last section swap in the new section I just bought and put the old last section last just to make them work.

Don't know how to go about this one . I had to get 2 sets of lights for the 1st and 2nd floor of my home . One set of lights were perfect . The 2nd set nothing but problems. Took a week of going back and forth with the help desk to figure it out they sent me the new part asap so let's see who it goes

The 3M sticky tape on the back of the lights is helpful for installation, but is not sufficient by itself. These lights have to be installed with clips. Govee used to provide clips that mounted over the light and covered both wires. Now, Govee only provides a single-screw wire clip. When the 3M tape fails, the light sags against the single-screw wire clip and it requires another trip up the ladder. The quality of this product took a big dive when Govee decided to save money by not providing sufficient clips. Don't be fooled by the marketing that says the sticky tape is enough.
