While the lights look fantastic, and seem to be great built quality. The issue I see is that there is an absolute lack of quality and thoughtfulness for the installer. Can't cut the lights, but they also can't provide extensions beyond the 1 in the package. This makes different eves of the roofline very hard to make look professional because you have to cover up a rogue light since there is no way to setup an extension.

These actually look really cool. Easy to use. But the tape used does not work well. Out of the 3 strands I used, at least a dozen lights became unglued. And it is not the mounting point. The 3M sticker stays on the wood. The sticker comes off the light itself. Even after I replaced the sticker, the sticker does not stick to the light. Very disappointing that I have a these lights just hanging in some spots

These were easy to install and definitely make our house the coolest on the street!! My kids love to pick the lights each day. Very bright, and the best part is we don't have to take them down each year! The app takes a while to figure out, but once we did it's fairly easy to use!

I love these lights and the color range etc, HOWEVER I am beyond frustrated with them falling off/not sticking properly! We even primed the area first to ensure that they would stick! Trying to find brackets to somehow secure them instead…., had they come with the kit I would have given them 5stars

App is terrible have a hard time staying connected timer seems to not work at all like it feels like phone has to be at home for timer to work my receiver or outlet don't see to work at all I have to move my wires around so they turn I still have no control over the lights what ever color they turn on too that's what they will be that day smh

The lights work as described, are not hard to install and look amazing once up. Make sure to plan ahead for your cuts for a more professional look. The lights will need to be permanently attached with clips as the adhesive on the back of the lights fail quite quickly. Which leads to the review title. For the lights to be secured correctly you need to place a clip on each side of the light. Govee only provides enough clips for one side so make sure to purchase more. The app is easy to use but must be with a 2.4ghz connection and be very close to the wireless router to connect.

Lights are pretty good but installation is a big issue. We had to order a few more items to make the lights stick properly on the outdoor surface of our house. The adhesive provided with each led light bulb is not strong and doest work. For the amount of money paid, this should not have been an issue. Disappointed to be honest

Love these lights! The combo of pre-programmed settings and DIY controls is fantastic. Plus, I'm only scratching the surface of the capacity of these lights. Installation was fairly straightforward. A couple of the 3M adhesive squares didn't function as well as the others. Overall, though, these are a great product with solid equipment.

I was excited to put these lights up. Paid a lot for the pro lights, because they were cuttable and were supposed to have extra. We got the 200ft cord and started putting them up and measured from light to light for one strand, and only ends up being 180', not 200' as advertised. They are counting the long power cord light as part of that length and now going to be short on the house. Really disappointed and not able to connect another strand due to 200' being the max. At least on the plus side, they do look great and lots of color options.

The lights are really cool, but there are a few things that probably could be better. I didn't like the appearance of the lights upon install, and I tried a couple different places but none looked great. Hoping they come up with a brighter iteration of these lights that I can recess so they are hid den but still emit enough light to give the desired effect. In the meantime I've returned the lights as the price is hard to justify when the lights aren't perfect.
