I was excited to put these lights up. Paid a lot for the pro lights, because they were cuttable and were supposed to have extra. We got the 200ft cord and started putting them up and measured from light to light for one strand, and only ends up being 180', not 200' as advertised. They are counting the long power cord light as part of that length and now going to be short on the house. Really disappointed and not able to connect another strand due to 200' being the max. At least on the plus side, they do look great and lots of color options.

Lights are pretty good but installation is a big issue. We had to order a few more items to make the lights stick properly on the outdoor surface of our house. The adhesive provided with each led light bulb is not strong and doest work. For the amount of money paid, this should not have been an issue. Disappointed to be honest

I've only installed 4/6 of the sets cause of a heavy downpour. Being 20 feet off the ground would have been a workout for a 65 year old with a ladder, so I rented a three level scaffolding unit. The hardest part was cleaning under the eaves. The installation was very fast and easy. Next set I'm having to clean and install off the ladder due to shrubbery but the final set I need to disassemble and reassemble scaffolding on the opposite side of my home. As I said before, I couldn't wait to do the full install. I had to try them out to see what it looked like. Absolutely awesome! I'm sure there's a way to control the app with two phones but I just haven't had the time to view the website instructions. Off to finish the install with the ladder!!!

I love the idea of the permanent Christmas lights. We bought a 150' string and a 50' string. The installation was a bit harder than I thought. I think it would be easier if the lights themselves had an area for a screw or clip to go through rather than having to install that separately. Also, I would like to see some additional lights per string so they are a bit closer together. Also more color options. White and now black with the Pro is a good start, but how about tan and brown too? My house is tan and the white stick out like a sore thumb. I do love the colors though and the pre-sets in the app are great! I'd like to see Apple Homekit available with the light strings. I have an iPhone and bought the non-pro (the Pro were not in stock and I didn't even see them on your website until after mine were up). Why not make the non-pro work with Apple Homekit too?

Finally got them up this weekend and they are amazing! The colors are beautiful and they are so versatile. What a relief to not have to get up on ladders several times a year to put up and take down multiple holiday lighting displays. THAT alone is a big deal when you live in North Dakota! At first they seemed expensive but NOT when you look at the big picture . LOVE!!!!!

All I can say is WOW! My wife, kids and I love these lights. Installation was extremely easy (although we have a two story house and climbing the ladder is a little scary). The lights are very bright, the colors are vibrant, and the app was very easy to set up (plug in the lights and the app picked them up right away). Only been up for 4 days, so lets just hope they last a long time, because I do not want to climb back up the ladder.

They were fairly easy to put up. I think cleaning the surface prior to applying the 3M sticky pads/lights was the key. I only had a couple fall down. Govee supplies extra 3m pads and brackets to secure the wires and lights. The neighbors are jealous, so I like them more.

The lights need more brackets to secure them to soffits so that they don't sag when the “sticky"backs come loose in cold weather. The included bracket screws are somewhat of a joke as they are so small to hold onto while driving them into soffits. I ended up using hundreds of cable clamps with better crews to run 2 strands of 150 feet each.

The lights and there functionality is fantastic. What needs improvement is the amount of wire mounting pieces. Needed to use additional wire mounting pieces to secure wires and lights as I did not want to rely on the 3M tape only. It would also be nice if there was an option of a trim piece that could be placed over the wire. As hard as you try, the wire does not lay completely flat. A trim piece with screw holes for mounting would solve the mounting issue and appearance issue. Lastly, the Govee Home app for programing the lights is not user friendly. I now know the basics, but it would be nice to offer a tutorial for its use. Don't get me wrong, I love the lights, but they could be better.

We are loving these lights! We purchased the pro version because I wanted black instead of white. They are easy to install. The splicing kit makes it stupid proof!! The extensions were great for my roof. We needed four of them and i think there are six in the box. We ran the extensions through the attic for the transitions in the roof so you don't see any cords! It's very clean looking!!
