[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kellogg's Special K Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Meals Bars were pretty darn good. Good chocolate and peanut taste without tasting overly sweet. The one down side is that they do contain 12gs of added sugar. UGH! 12 grams?! Why do companies have to add so much sugar? So, I will be eating all these when my diabetic husband is not around. They do work great for on-the-go life styles. They were filling enough to keep away the "hangrys" I would like to try one of the fruit flavors next, I think those might be better for a breakfast on the run.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a longtime buyer of the Special K Protein Meal Chocolate Peanut Butter bars. I use Amazon's subscribe and save option to have them delivered every month because I have one of them for breakfast every day. That said, I took a bite of my most recent delivery and realized something was different. The taste was slightly off. I compared my newest box to my previous shipment and realized that Special K had changed the formula! (The packaging is also slightly different: use-by date is in red on top of the box, red 'good source of antioxidant vitamins C & E' added to the front, now labeled 'naturally flavored' instead of 'naturally & artificially flavored' and '170 calories, 3.5g sat fat, 250mg sodium, 15g sugars' now prominently on the box front.) The bars went from 180 calories to 170. Carbohydrates from 25g to 23. The ingredients have also appeared to change. I will try to add pictures of the ingredient labels to the product pictures for those interested. Overall I did not like the taste, most likely because I've been eating the same bar for months (over a year?) and the change was startling. I loved the old bars and I am unsure if I will continue to order them now. Just an FYI to previous buyers. I have added the pictures.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very surprised at how good these are! I'm not a huge chocolate fan but I absolutely love these. No complaints. They're an excellent way to make sure i get all my daily protein, without depending on the chalky tasting products of the past.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved the yummy deliciousness of this. To me it was just the right balance of chocolate and peanut butter - not too sweet which I like. In all honesty I eat a lot of protein bars, at least one daily. What I liked about these is that they are not sickenly sweet like most protein bars. I actually felt like I was eating something healthy. I bought four different flavors of chocolate peanut butter, chocolate chip, strawberry and the blueberry. I am jazzed that they have fruit options instead of just all the chocolate options that most companies offer. I will definitely be replacing my old protein bars with these. I highly recommend.

The bars have a good amount of protein, fiber, and other nutrients. The texture was pleasant and I felt satiated after eating it. However, I am a huge fan of peanut butter and I felt like the chocolate taste overpowered the peanut butter in these bars. I'd like to see that mix be more balanced. I am looking forward to trying more flavors of the Special K Protein Bars. In particular, I am excited to try to Brownie Batter flavor.

My son is extremely picky, and he loves these, they taste so great, he never even knew he was eating something good for him. They keep us full, and are a great snack. We can't wait to try the chocolate caramel next.

Ate as a mid afternoon snack to hold me over for dinner and not only was it good it curved my hunger. Didn't taste heavy like other protein bars I've tried. Now to decide between the blueberry or brownie one next.
