They worked very well but we actually had a faint line show up on one of the tests which made us think we were pregnant and made us kinda sad when the next one had nothing so I don't know if it was the urine or faulty but we have usually always used the cheap brands they all work the same I think

I used this brand to confirm both of my pregnancies. With my son I tested and received a positive and when I went to the doctor for confirmation I received a negative. Feeling slightly disappointed the doctor ran bloodwork. The following business day we were called and told the bloodwork confirmed my pregnancy and that these test can be more sensitive than those in the doctors office.

I bought this because it said 96% accuracy about 4 days before period due and 99% accurate 3-0 days before your period is due. I took a test 4 days before (first morning) and two days before (evening) and both were negative. Finally got a faint positive line just one day before. This is my third pregnancy so I know the symptoms and pretty much new I was but I was frustrated that this "early" test did not work. Should have saved my $ and waited one more day for a generic brand.

If your just looking for a standard pregnancy test with decent sensitivity, this will fit the bill. But, if you are like me and you like to read more from your home pregnancy sticks, First Response early result once was the go to, but now they seems to have less reliable chemical steps for those who hope to see a visible increase in hCG every two days. My betas are doubling but it isn't very apparent in the lines I'm getting on the sticks. Secondarily, the stick curves where the viewing window is, making it quite tough to photograph for the documentarians in the crowd. Admittedly it's only a small percentage of us that take our urine sticks this seriously. Mostly because we've struggled to keep a viable pregnancy so we look for any sign of hope. I will keep buying this brand even still.

I had a completely negative blood test 16 hours after getting my 4th faint positive! I got my first faint positive with these tests at 8dpo. It showed up within a minute and was very light but pink. Second and third faint positives were 9 and 10dpo. Faint lines that were getting slightly darker: pink and showing up within 2 minutes. The photo included with this review (top photo) shows the test from around 6pm on 12dpo. The line was obvious, especially in person, and could be seen in a photo without color manipulation. 10am 13dpo, my Dr sent me for a blood test. No HCG. <1. (bottom photo) These lines do not look like evap lines or indents, they are pink, and they show up within the time frame given in the directions. Only two of these tests came from the same box. The tests were not expired. Directly from the First Response website, it says that even a faint positive is a positive (see middle photo). I'm not sure what is going on with these tests but the company needs to check their quality control. This is not acceptable. I always thought First Response was a company I could trust for accurate results. Not anymore.

It is a little confusing to figure out the day you are supposed to take it. I like the product and the idea that it will show you 6 days before the missed period. However, I wish it had a chart on the side with the day of the expected period and the day you are supposed to take the test. (Example: If you are expecting your period on "x", take the test the "x" before.) It is a little confusing to try and figure out. But if it had a chart, this would have been a 5 star product hands down!

This test has always been right. Never a false read on this one. They are super simple to use. Nothing fancy to do. Very effective and results come very fast, within a few second really. They are easy to use and highly recommend this type of pregnancy test.

I have only taken 2 at home pregnancy tests in my life, and it was a 2 pack of these. I wasn't even a whole week late and decided to try these out. Once I peed on the stick it lit up within a minute, and the same with the second test. I didn't have to wait at all to find out that I was pregnant. These tests are affordable and incredibly easy to use. They are accurate as well. I recommend these tests to anyone wanting to take an at home pregnancy test, and if I ever decide to have a second kiddo I will definitely repurchase.

I tested a week before my period was due and saw my first faint line (no squinting needed!). I continued to test with the remaining 2 tests through out the week and results came quicker and darker. I am glad I chose First Response for my choice of test.
