[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am usually not the type to urinate directly onto pregnancy tests. I like the urinate in a cup and dip method better. However, the curved handle of this test made it easier to urinate directly onto the test. I REALLY liked the wider tip as well. This test was easy to use and gave me accurate early pregnancy test results.

If your just looking for a standard pregnancy test with decent sensitivity, this will fit the bill. But, if you are like me and you like to read more from your home pregnancy sticks, First Response early result once was the go to, but now they seems to have less reliable chemical steps for those who hope to see a visible increase in hCG every two days. My betas are doubling but it isn't very apparent in the lines I'm getting on the sticks. Secondarily, the stick curves where the viewing window is, making it quite tough to photograph for the documentarians in the crowd. Admittedly it's only a small percentage of us that take our urine sticks this seriously. Mostly because we've struggled to keep a viable pregnancy so we look for any sign of hope. I will keep buying this brand even still.

Hello. I bought a box of the First Response Early Result Pregnancy test (Lot # DC72012 and expiration 2019-06-27). I have been using your product for months bc my husband and I are trying to get pregnant. When I went to use your test this morning, I used it as the box directs, and absolutely nothing appeared on the stick. It is defective. I paid a nice amount of money for this box and the product doesn't work. I would like to be reimbursed asap.

I was interested in trying first response as I typically use cheap tests. I was surprised at how easy it was to use. I was able to get my results in a very short amount of time. This hpt is super easy to use, with a wide urine sample strip. The test line has always appeared dark and visible when I've used them. I've yet to get a positive result, as I am not yet pregnant. However, I plan to continue using First Response as I try to conceive.

I just had my heart broken by a false positive. A gray line showed up within the three minute mark, and I was overjoyed. Tested again two days later and got a stark white negative. Did some research and found out FRERs are notorious for indents giving false positives. I'm not the only woman who's suffered a broken heart bc of this faulty product. Back to the design room First Response! Fix those indent lines!! :(

I purchased a two pace yesterday and took the test with in 3-4 mins they were both positive , so just to reassure my self I bought 4 more test came home took them they were all positive within minutes, this morning I woke up and ran to the store and bought another two pack took them and they were negative ...what's going on ? I trust the 6 that were positive but why the negative ones this morning ? I've always only used first response because I trust the results but now I'm starting to wonder about them because now I'm seeing all this stuff on evaporation lines . My test were all positive before 10 mins and evaporation lines shouldn't show up with in the time frame that the test needs to work , if so than I won't ever purchase this product again . I'm very familiar with taking home pregnancy test and haven't ever had this problem till now ,

I have had multiple false positive results with this product over the last year. I've followed the instructions to the T. Never had any issues with the product with previous 3 pregnancies. Seems that something changed when the design changed. This is heartbreaking. Shane on this company for not pulling these products when multiple instances of this happening can be found all over the Internet.

The new design makes it hard to see any sort of faint line. Plus, LOTS of evaps including pink evaps from what I'm hearing. Last test I took didn't even show a control line and the one before that showed a BRIGHT white line where the test line was. Definitely something wrong with the new tests. FRER used to be a good product.
