I have used FRER's for the past 3 years through 4 pregnancies (all MC's unfortunately) and have never gotten a false positive / colored evaporation line until the "new and improved" tests came out. Each of the tests (3 separate boxes) showed faint color within the 2-5 minute window. I no longer trust FRER and will stick to cheaper tests. If you can find the older style tests - go that route these new tests will lead to heartbreak.. I'm giving 2 stars due to the fact that up until the "improvements" these were my gold standard test to go to.

Im livid after buying this product. Ive always used this but after buying like 10 freaking boxes and them all having stupid indent pink lines im done. I've been trying to conceive for over 3 years and when i tested and got obvious lines i was so so excited only to be devastated a few days later when my appointment with my RE led to being told I wasn't pregnant and hadn't even ovulated. I was heartbroken, this is isnt the first ive heard of people complaining about ur faulty line tests. Shame on you first response!

This was the test that I always have trusted. It has one of the highest sensitivities of tests on the market, meaning it can pick up the lowest amounts of HCG (I believe it's 25 IUI). I confirmed my pregnancies at 10 days past ovulation and at only 3 weeks and 5 days pregnant, well before my period was even due!

I purchased many different pregnancy tests during my TWW. I ended up taking all of the pregnancy tests the day before my missed period and this one was the only one that showed I was pregnant! Unfortunately that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage at 11 weeks but these will be the only tests I buy from now on!!

I bought two boxes of First Response early pregnancy tests. The very first test I took had an extremely faint line that made it look as though I tested positive. The second test I took (the next day) had no line and was obviously negative. I waited two more days and tested again. This time, the very faint line showed up again. After doing some online research about this, I came across forum after forum of disappointed women who thought they were pregnant only to discover they indeed were not. It's very heart wrenching for a woman like me who is trying to conceive! To think that you're pregnant for even one night then realize it was just a poorly designed pregnancy test that gave me the false hope. I bought this product because it had the best reviews. I really don't think I would buy it again.

I took four different first response early response tests, all on different days. Each test showed a very faint line within 2 mins. I assumed that I was pregnant, so I called my doctor. My blood hcg level was less than 1. So I was not pregnant! Do not trust these tests. My test were all brand new and not expired.

I tested multiple times/ daily to confirm/deny my results. I did this for the 7 days, unfortunately my end result ended in a negative result. I will be using this product again for my second FET scheduled for a couple month away.

This pregnancy test has a wider tip and a longer curved handle, making it easier to hold and to target. But what I love the most is that I can test early. For us that is trying for a baby, we always want to test and know early. I know that I can test as early as 6 days before my period, but to be safe, I tested 3-4 days before my period. The result shows that it's negative and sure enough my period did came, so it's accurate and it's easy to use. I received complimentary product in exchange for an honest review.
