I bought 3 packs of these tests (two in each pack) it didn't give me a positive untill two weeks after missed period. Started the first testing at 5 days before period. Everyone's levels are different though. I think it is a good test and this time around I'm hoping for a faster positive results from this test while ttc

This test is awesome. It's reliable and easy to tell the results of your test. It did take a while for my test to show up positive. The other brand with the screen tells you how baby weeks you are. This brand took 6 weeks to say I was actually positive.

I have purchased about six packs of these test this month. And they all have some kind of indent line on them. And with the curved design it gives you a glare that makes them really hard to read. You waste so much time trying to find the right lighting to see the results that your time limit is usually up before you can see it clearly. And I also have gotten a very faint pink line on two test within the time limit and both ended up being negative. I'm not sure why they decided to change the old design but I really wish they would go back to the flat design. Maybe widen the handle and keep the wide tip. But until then I will have to find another brand because these test are too expensive to have to guess every time you take one.

First a response is a great product. I have never had a problem with this brand. very simple steps and easy to use. It gives you a response very quickly. although I have only needed to use this a couple of time, it's very accurate and put my nerves at ease. nice product.

I've always used First Response, but decided to try a competitor this time to see if it could detect HCG early. Turns out, not only could it not detect the HCG level, but it was hard to read/understand. I made a mistake by trying a different kind of test. I always will stick with First Response. Easiest to use/easiest to read and early results!!

I find this test to be affordable and accurate. With each pregnancy I have bought this test because I always liked to take two. I had to be sure. Each one was accurate and would show fairly quickly. I would certainly recommend this test to anyone who needs an affordable test that is accurate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am unsure of the purpose of a twist design. I feel it made the test more difficult to read. I had to hold both tests up the light to make sure they were negative. I was hoping for a positive test but I will keep trying for a baby. I prefer the non-twist tests.

I've tried all the brands, and they are all pretty much the same. However I do prefer the digital read out than the lines. The lines comes out fine and are perfect readable but if you leave the test for a while you will get a positive result sometimes. That doesn't happen with a digital test.

The indent line on this test is so obvious. I thought I was pregnant because I could see it in The 3 minute window, but my husband had me look at the other unused test in the box and there it was, clear as the line on the test I took previously. Took it apart and I can see the indent. Very disappointed...:(

I purchased a two pace yesterday and took the test with in 3-4 mins they were both positive , so just to reassure my self I bought 4 more test came home took them they were all positive within minutes, this morning I woke up and ran to the store and bought another two pack took them and they were negative ...what's going on ? I trust the 6 that were positive but why the negative ones this morning ? I've always only used first response because I trust the results but now I'm starting to wonder about them because now I'm seeing all this stuff on evaporation lines . My test were all positive before 10 mins and evaporation lines shouldn't show up with in the time frame that the test needs to work , if so than I won't ever purchase this product again . I'm very familiar with taking home pregnancy test and haven't ever had this problem till now ,
