My cycles are irregular but used to be about 33 days when they were regular. I used the when to test calculator and it told me to test on June 8th. My period was due on June 13th but clearly, it's not gonna be coming! I used the test exactly as instructed and had no issues with indent lines/evap lines or invalid test. I was a diehard clearblue fan but they were having loads of indent and invalid tests in 2020 so I switched to using FR.

I like these tests, but to be fair, they are also the only kind I've ever bought so I have nothing to compare them to. I like these ones as you can test a little earlier than some other tests, and they are accurate. I used one of these when I found out I was pregnant with my son. I just knew I was pregnant, but I was still almost a week before my period. I just felt it I guess, and It was a positive test.

I had SEVEN pink, double lined tests. This would have been my fourth baby, so I'm not new to pregnancy tests. I immediately headed to my doctor to get a blood draw and begin the process of welcoming a new little BUT…I'm not pregnant. No HCG whatsoever. Needless to say, I'm very annoyed to have been stressed, excited and to have wasted all this money on literal trash that caused sadness and disappointment. I literally only used First Response to test for my most recent baby (that was born 7weeks ago!) and they were great then. My ‘positives' looked exactly like the tests I got for my baby. I'm not sure what has happened to the quality of these tests but needless to say, I'm not happy this happened. I don't believe all of us have had chemical pregnancies or misread these tests. I literally had NO HCG, and a strong pink line. These should all be recalled until the problem is corrected. So bummed to not be able to trust these again.

For someone who has been trying to conceive for 14 months, it's extremely disheartening when I look at the test and see a very clear line and then for 3 days in a row, I get the same line. However, it's negative. When I first started using the First Response tests, they were always a clear negative with no dodgy lines. These last few months, I have had so many false positives with indent / evaporation lines that show up within the 3 minutes time frame. It's so distressing and disheartening. I don't think I am alone. I am on several forums and a lot of other women are experiencing the same thing. It only seems to be as of the last few months. If you tests are reliable and are causing evaporation / indent lines, please recall these and fix this issue! It's terrible. I live in New Zealand but your Country Selector doesn't give me the option.

I bought a three pack of these test. For three days in a row I got negative results, including on the day I went to the doctor to confirm. The test at my doctors office popped up immediately and beta test showed an hcg level of 64. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I bought a box of 3 test. I took one on a Friday evening and was so happy when I saw a faint but very clear and pink line pop up almost immediately. So I decided that I would wait till Monday morning before I tested again knowing that if I was pregnant the line would be much darker and then I would be able to celebrate. Monday morning roles around and I take another test and again a clear and pink line popped up in the time frame but still faint. So I took another test thinking maybe one was faulty if I was pregnant the line should be pretty dark by now. Nope same line on the other test. Googled this and found many women have had this same problem and have not been pregnant. So I bought a different brand of test to test again and it was unmistakably negative. What happened to the times when a second pink line just meant you were pregnant not that you have to second guess everything.

Awful tests took so many last month with faint lines and again this cycle...clear faint pink line on so many...even did one with a friend hers was also a faint pink positive and theres no way she was pregnant without dtd...just so heartbreaking you need to fix this problem your tests are not cheap so make them more reliable!!!!

Two negative tests from this product despite missed period took a different test. Positive first try. Took two more to confirm positive twice. Maybe people like the bad reviews because it worked so well for them but not for me. If I suspect pregnancy when we try again I'll make sure to avoid this product. Waste of money.

Both the original FRER and the digital gave me false positives on TWO separate occasions!! We have been trying for 5 years so if you can imagine, we were heartbroken when the blood test came back with 0 hcg!! FIX THIS FIRST RESPONSE!! I will never buy these tests again!

First response has been my go-to for years and I have never had issues until now. My husband and I are trying to conceive baby #3 and over the course of 3 months I have bought two boxes of these tests. My first month I took a test a pink line popped up almost immediately and we were over the moon thinking we had conceived. Went to my doctor the same day and my HCG levels were UNDER 5! I assumed it was a fluke a moved on. Well it happened again not once but a total of four times. Faint pink lines that pop up within the time frame. Every time my blood work showed an HCG under 5 within mere hours of taking these tests. This is unacceptable and hurtful to women who are trying to conceive. Please take these off the shelf and fix them.
