I bought the CVS brand and it came back positive, then I bought Clearblue because that is my brand but I wanted to try a different brand to see if the results will come back the same, well I bought First Response and both tests came back with the first line showing but not the second one. All I know is that I know I am pregnant and since my other 4 tests came back positive then I will stick with the other tests and throw away these awful tests from First Response. To think that First Response is more pricey than the others, such a joke.

I've spent literally hundreds of dollars of these tests because all the positives and negatives I got. I've gotten 4 digital responses that read yes with a plus sign and a couple days later when I got my period I went to the dr and thought it was implantation bleeding just to find out I wasn't actually pregnant.... I went to the First response website to read reviews and see if other people are getting false positives and sure enough I'm not the only one..... super heartbroken left the hospital emotional and embarrassed. Will never purchase this product or recommend it ever again

I have never found out I was pregnant on a test no more than 2 days before a period was supposed to start but I thought I might be pregnant and took a test 5-6 days before my period should come and it was positive, I took another 3 days later to confirm and sure thing it was positive.

To paraphrase a line from Titanic (yes, I'm old), I feel like I (and every other recent review on this site) am standing in the middle of a crowded room, screaming at the top of my lungs, and no one even looks up. There is a quality control issue with the Early Result tests, and no one is listening or even acknowledging this feedback. I've been pregnant four times (three living children) over the span of the past two decades. Two decades of buying First Response Early Result tests because up until recently, they were the best. I know what an indent line is. I know how to read a pregnancy test. And even I got burned this past month by seven - count ‘em, SEVEN - tests from four different boxes, purchased at two different stores at different times, that look unquestionably positive when they're unquestionably not. All of these “positives” popped up by the three-minute mark and were photographed well before the ten-minute cutoff. And yes, the lines were pink. Board of Directors… manufacturing team… anyone… have you ever tried to conceive? Have you ever experienced the humiliation of discovering that the “positive” test you got earlier that week looks an awful lot like the “positive” tests described by countless other burned women, the sinking realization that the thing you've been excited about all week long was nothing more than a lie? Or is it just more convenient to dismiss the flood of feedback as coming from consumers who don't know how to use a pregnancy test, who probably just had a chemical pregnancy (all of us? really?), who don't matter as much as your bottom line? Your silence is deafening.

I use to buy frer since my cycle is irregular. Since may I notice some of the test had evaps so I stopped buying for a while hoping for will fix this. In August happened again so I peed on a different test since I was already late and negative on that brand. Finally got a period in Oct. I hope the company fix this. Being non pregnant and creating a confusing evap can take a emotional toll on someone.

I am so upset. I've been trying to conceive with my husband and bought 3 boxes of pregnancy tests by this brand. I got THREE false positives. I was over the moon with joy thinking I was pregnant. Well I continued to take more tests over the next few days and all were negative. I posted about it in my Trying To Conceive support group on Facebook and MANY different women informed me that they have received multiple false positives using this brand as well. THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SELL PREGNANCY TESTS ANYMORE. SO MANY WOMEN ARE LEFT HEARTBROKEN BECAUSE OF THESE OVERLY ESPENSIVE, FAULTY PREGNANCY TESTS. You people should be ashamed.

I have been buying these tests for over a year now and the last few months have been getting false positives. This month was the worse and I was totally convinced I was finally pregnant. It is extremely heartbreaking when you wait so long and finally get a “positive” only to be crushed the next day with a negative test. These were my go to tests and I have spent 100's of dollars on them only to show me false positives. I will not be buying these tests anymore until they are more reliable.

I've taken nearly 20 of the early detection ones and they ALL had a second line and the app even detected it as ‘pregnant'. These are such a lie! I had a miscarriage last year and then recently lost my 10 day old daughter, so to have these tests give me false hope, im angry! I wasted so much money. I want a refund.

I used these my entire ttc journey(33 cycles). I thought I was having multiple early losses almost every month until this last cycle. I had faint but clearly positive tests 4 days in a row. On day 3 my HCG came back at less than 2, day 4 was just as dark as the other days. I wonder how many other cycles I thought I was having an early loss when really it was just faulty tests. I bought it twice, seeing faint lines. I took 4 of them and all had faint positive. I took a different brand and it was negative. I was so devastated to see all the reviews and I related to every single person who has wrote a review. Please fix your test, and I want my money back.
