I got VERY BAD indent lines that actually were almost looking positive. This continued with 3 boxes, I then found out by bloodwork I was never pregnant at all. This really needs to be checked out, these are so expensive they shouldn't do that. Please do a recall if you have to, but the false hope is awful for someone wishing for a baby. I spent so much trying to get a clear positive only to find out I never had hope. Not sure if I'll buy again, maybe if they fix the indent problem.

I just recently got a test that already had two pink lines before it was even dipped in urine. This was two months ago. I contacted the company and they handled everything really well and refunded me. I really had a lot trust in first response since my first miscarriage in September. Well here we are in April 2022, one month after a chemical pregnancy (the test was too dark to be an indent in that case & I took a couple of other tests which were faint), and I got WAY TOO excited that I was pregnant again! I literally watched my dozen tests over the course of several days get a strong line with more color. Just like I did with my chemical. My partner could see them too so I know it wasn't just me. Finally, I bit the bullet and went to get betas done… only to find out EVERYTHING was a lie on my first response tests and my betas came back DEFINITELY NOT PREGNANT. Mind you there were about 5 or 6 different batches that I had gotten, every last one of them with a faint line. It started off as an indent and then had color. Not a lot but with early testing we don't expect it to be a lot but to see any progress, especially following a chemical pregnancy and a miscarriage not even 6 months apart… any change counts! After finding out that I fell victim to first response (after trusting them again) just like so many other women, I was devastated. I wish I could show you just how convincing all of my tests were in progression but in a total rage, I broke every single one of them and threw them all away. I am sickened by the fact that first response even gets to continue selling these or having them on the market. I can't even say there is a way to make it right now having spent HUNDREDS of dollars (like upper range hundreds) since September only to be tricked and scammed right after a chemical pregnancy… I even question the legitimacy of my positives in March now from that chemical. I know I am only one of many women who are being dramatically affected by this and I know I speak for many when I say, DO NOT BUY OR TRUST FIRST RESPONSE! Especially not for early testing! We're better off using internet cheapies in bulk than continuing to pay a company who is robbing us blind knowing our desperation! I hope someone sees this and considers again using first response! I am a POAS addict to the max and first response was the only brand that I once thought wouldn't lie to me! I am officially wrong! Baby dust to all!

Indents that look like faint positives are the norm now! Took a test this morning and looked like a light pink, thin line. Every other test I took after is a big fat negative. Searched online and THOUSANDS of women have seen the same indent line, think it's an early positive, only to be heartbroken. First Response needs to fix the issue. It's become a joke now- no one is taking these tests seriously!

It's heartbreaking to go through a loss, only to get your hopes up when that second line is there at the 3 minute mark. Only to discover it's an indent, and a recurring problem that no one in charge seems to care about. Forst Response used to be my favorite brand, and I will no longer be recommending. All 4 of my tests came back with indents within minutes 4 days in a row

Literally ive used these tests for the last three months ive had sooo many false positives and indents its absurd, i got excited i had a faint positive my husband looked at the unused test and found a pre made indent of a line, its happened way to much and these test are expensive over the last 3 months ive spent 100s of dollars on test to just play with my emotions

I used to use these all the time. They were my favorites. Until this weekend when I got a positive test and we went through a ton of emotional rollercoaster about this pregnancy. Only to have all of the other tests come back negative and bloodwork to confirm I am, and have not been, pregnant. Turns out dozens and dozens of women in my TTC app have also had these lines. I can't trust these tests anymore.

I have bought over 10 pregnancy tests as I have been trying to conceive for a year. On every single pregnancy test it come up as positive my husband and I get beyond excited when taking an actual blood test it comes back negative! I understand on evaporation line but for more then 10 pregnancy tests to come back positive and giving us that hope just to crush us again!

I was so happy to see a positive test result after TTC for few months. I couldn't believe my eyes so I took the second test using the same urine and it was stark white. The next day I purchased another 3-pack early results and decided to try again. And the same thing happened- two tests from the pack came back positive, and the last one was big fat negative, not even a hint of the line. Tried using different brands and all of them are negative. Thanks for giving me a false hope, first response. This is very cruel.

I bought a box 3 weeks ago. I got a positive regular test so I proceeded to take the digital. It came back positive. The next day, I used a Clear Blue and it was negative. The day after that, I retested with a regular first response and a digital first response. Those both came back negative. I went through feelings of being worried i was losing a baby.. I went to the doctor and had an hcg blood test done. It showed I had zero hcg in my system. Two tests from the same box gave me false positives. I was never pregnant.. very upset and disappointed..

After purchasing several tests and getting faint positives on all of them (3) I double checked with another brand and a clear blue digital as I had a faint positive last month and got my period the next day. Every other test was Negative. I am not pregnant. So thankful I didn't tell my husband or family. What an embarrassment First Response. Do better.
