I took the test four days before my missed period and it came back negative. I have been using the P Tracker on my phone for two years and its pretty accurate of the days of my period. I feel confident that I did take the test four days prior to missing my period. I took another test two days after missed period and it was a positive. I'm sad that I was the 4% that did not get a positive right away. But, I'm happy to report that the test was a positive two days after! (I did not try to take a test between day 4 and day -2)

I bought a two pack of the curved wide tip First Response pregnancy tests and only one worked. I mean the one that didn't work stayed blank and didn't do anything! The one that did work, worked fast and was very clear! I like the brand of First Response, but not sure about spending a decent amount of money on only getting half the product. Since my husband and I are trying to get pregnant we are testing often, so that itself already starts to add up. Then throw one that doesn't even work in there and it leads to more disappointment.

I bought this product 12 years ago when I found out I was pregnant with my son, I also used this product months and months while trying to conceive my daughter, it always gave me good results. I found out 6 days before my missed period with this test that I was pregnant with my daughter. We are now trying again and I have a whole basket full of these tests.

This test has always been right. Never a false read on this one. They are super simple to use. Nothing fancy to do. Very effective and results come very fast, within a few second really. They are easy to use and highly recommend this type of pregnancy test.

My husband and I were working on baby 2. I was spending a lot of pregnancy test ,because I had no patience...so I would always by the most trusted brand for early results. First response says their test can tell pregnancy 6 days sooner. I waited to take the test 4 days before missed period. I got a negative result. I was in tears the whole day...I felt like I had all the signs! I had no doubt I was pregnant. So I waited until the day before my missed period. The results came back blank...I was so disappointed and just decided to wait until 5 days after my missed period. I bought just a generic brand that came with 20 sticks....I took the test today and I got a positive. I don't recommend these test...their quality control seems to be lacking.

They worked very well but we actually had a faint line show up on one of the tests which made us think we were pregnant and made us kinda sad when the next one had nothing so I don't know if it was the urine or faulty but we have usually always used the cheap brands they all work the same I think

I have an IUD and don't get my period so I like to be sure that I'm not pregnant. However, I've bought this brand a few times and I've had at least 3 dud tests that give me no results. Not something you want when you're trying to make sure you're not pregnant.

I used first response for my first two pregnancies and they worked great. However I have been testing lightly positive for the past two weeks on First Response, and only on first response (I tried 3 other brands) I checked exactly at the 3 minute mark and tried 8 times in the last two weeks. Every time, light positive (clearly containing pink, not an evap line). I went to the doctor to see what was going on. Blood test was negative.

I purchased the 3 test package. I tested 6 days before my missed period and tested negative. I waited 4 days and tested again which was 2 days before my missed period and still negative. I waited and tested 4 days until after I should have gotten my period and finally a positive! Confirmed by the drs. Office and today I'm 6 weeks and 2 days! We go for my first sonogram in 2 days and I'm so excited and nervous being this is our first!

I did have a negative, which is fine even though we are trying. The curve on the handle made it virtually mess free. The only downside is that the window is curved so it may cast a weird shadow that for a second looks like a very faint positive. If they could correct the window, it would be almost perfect!
