I read the reviews, but having used this test in the past with accurate results I was sure all the “false” positives were due to user error of some sort... I really trusted these test so I bought a 3 pack, followed directions to a T saw a super faint line at 9dpo evening urine, so imagine how happy I was at 10dpo FMU and my line was progressing still faint but definitely there and pink! Well I couldn't wait to test again so after a 5hour hold I used my last test of that box and back to a barely visible line. Went out picked up 3 individual boxes tested again 10dpo evening urine BFN no hint of a line! 11dpo FMU different box and again BFN! How disappointing, my husband even saw the line and was so excited now we are both crushed! What happened to the good test I trusted? Get it together first Response, I will never again waist my money on your trash tests, internet cheapies are more reliable and affordable!

I bought two boxes with a total of 4 tests so I was suppose to get my period Friday and decided to test Sunday ( 6 days sooner ) it was negative so then I decided to test Tuesday and I got a positive .. tested again Wednesday & it was positive I went to the doctors again and confirmed that I am indeed pregnant with my first lil baby !

I have never gotten indents like I recently have. I got, what I thought, was a positive last week. It was dark and showed up right away. The next day I tested negative. Put one of the tests in water and got the same dark line. I will never buy these again.

I had multiple positive tests even a digital to confirm and come to find out America's most trusted brand has become lower than a dollar brand test with false positives and indents!! Shame on you First Response for not only being so costly but distributing horrible tests that crush women, and cause heartbreak QUIT ADVERTISING AS AN EARLY TEST WHEN IN FACT YOU GIVE FALSE HORRIBLE RESULTS

I took one test and got a faint 2nd line. The next day, I took another and got another faint, but darker than the day before, 2nd line. After taking other tests and receiving multiple negatives, I researched and found out these have been giving multiple people false positives. This can be heartbreaking for people TTC.

My husband and I have been trying for a baby for about two years now. I was diagnosed with PCOS so it's been hard. I bought the three pack, the regular pregnancy test, the one minute pregnancy test and the digital. I took one at 11 DPO and there was the faintest line. I had to use a flashlight to see it. A few days later I took another one and there were two lines and the digital picked up the HCG levels sooner than any other brand!

I have bought these tests for a few years now, and have never had a problem. Until recently when I bought the packs of three tests. At least one of them, if not more, has been defective in each and every one of the boxes. I'm getting tired of spending money for defective tests.

Just bought a 3pk of these yesterday. The first one I took gave me a very faint second line, did a second one this morning with first urine of the day and half of the second line was a darker pink but then the other half was completely blank which I thought was weird. So then took the third test and got another very faint line. Went to the health department to take a test with them and it was negative. Something needs to be done about all of these false positive tests out there!!! And I have always used this product to detect my other pregnancies and have never had a problem until now.

Does anyone in this company know what it's like trying to conceive? Because if there was then they would fix these horrible indents!! I had such a strong line that I figured it was a positive, but it unfortunately was not! I was extremely heartbroken and frustrated! People Rey on these tests to be accurate and not have to second guess if it's a real line or not! The amount of money these tests costs they should be manufactured properly!

I used FRER because the blue dye tests get such bad evap lines and dye runs, and in the past these tests have been very reliable. However Like many of the other reviewers on here, I got 4 false positives from this test, and one test that was totally defective. The false positives looked exactly like the picture another person posted in a review written on Jan 28. Idk what's going on. I have a feeling FR changed the sensitivity of their tests recently and now they are picking up on baseline HCG levels. But since they refuse to share the levels of HCG the tests will read with their customers, there's no way to be sure. I wish this company was more transparent about their product. Unfortunately after this last experience I will no longer be purchasing this brand while TTC. They've lost my trust :(
