I've been using this elliptical for nearly a month, and it's been a fantastic addition to my fitness routine. It's great for warming up before weight training or getting in some movement after meals. I've also explored the iFit workout videos, which take you through scenic mountain trails, beach paths, and various other terrains — they're super motivating and keep things fresh. One of my favorite features is how the resistance and incline automatically adjust to match the landscape in the video, which makes the experience really immersive. I ordered this new X16 to replace a Nordictrack Elliptical I’ve had for almost 20 years. It’s definitely quieter and pretty smooth until you try to switch between step, glide and run. One has to almost stop moving to switch functions which defeats the purpose of the workout. Also, at increased resistance and incline the steps will not move which is annoying when you are working out with a trainer and they increase the incline/resistance but yet the machine won’t move - this defeats the purpose of the workout! Also, why in the world would Nordictrack not put a stationary bar on this machine to allow one to step onto it? I’m 5’6” and the steps are fairly high on the machine. Not only are the steps high they also move when you get on the machine and without a stationary bar to hold onto this becomes a safety issue. So I wanted to love this machine to replace one that was almost 20 years old however I will most likely be sending it back.

This Elliptical has been such a great addition to our growing home gym! We needed a cardio machine and this one does a great job. I’m a newbie to ellipticals and it’s been cool to see how good of a workout you can get on it. I really like the guided videos through iFit that change the resistance and incline automatically as you go through the chosen terrain. Beautiful sceneries in the videos too! I just upgraded to the new x16 elliptical from the FS7. It is the same size and function as the older model but with new features that greatly improve the experience using the machine. The bigger screen is fantastic! The incline and resistance controls on the handles are also a big improvement. My wife and I both use the machine daily and are very happy with our new machine.

I'm 6'5", 210-pounds with bad knees, I’ve struggled to find a cardio machine that doesn’t hurt my knees- and this one doesn't. It’s sturdy, smooth, and fully supports my size without any issues. I love the iFit workouts; they make cardio enjoyable, and the ability to stream Netflix or Amazon Prime is a great bonus. I’ve lost almost 100 pounds over the past year, and this elliptical has helped me stay on track without aggravating my knees. Highly recommended! This review was incentivized.

This elliptical machine is a great addition to my home gym. I especially like to use the IFIT program videos when working out because they are very informative and help me reach my workout goals. This is more than your typical elliptical machine! I love how it has free, independently moving pedals so that you can easily adjust your stride. This elliptical is awesome! The set up was super easy. The instructions had pictures and videos that were easy to pull up to help with any questions we had. The elliptical is heavy, but two of us were able to move it down our stairs and set up. The machine works great. I was so impressed with how smooth the movement was - especially how easy it was to transition between long strides and shorter steps. One of my favorite things is the controls for resistance and incline are located on the screen and also on the handles, which makes it nice to not have to let go while trying to change the intensity of your workout. I also love the large screen. It is adjustable which makes the touch screen and work out information easy to access. Fantastic machine! This is an incentivized review.

I am enjoying the new X16. However, it is nothing like a normal elliptical. You can find a rhythm but it is difficult to to keep it. It is sort of neat that you can change your stride to different types of steps but it is also difficult to keep a particular stride. I also find it hard to get any speed on this machine. striding it is hard to go over about 45 rpm and stair stepping I can get to maybe 55. My old elliptical I could go to 75-80 rpm. I find that IFIT is okay, but listening to the 'coaching' is boring. they just seem to ramble on about things that are not interesting. Also, on IFIT, the target RPM is dumb. . Sometimes the target is 13 and often it is only 20 at most. I can't even walk that slow. I can get a good workout on the machine, but it is unlike anything I have ever been on.

As a busy mom of three, this elliptical helps me get in my cardio while making it fun! The IFit program is helpful and it’s easy to customize the workouts for my needs. The videos on the IFit program are easy to follow. The machine took a 2-3 hours to fully assemble with the help my husband. The machine itself is very versatile because it can be used by an expert and also by someone who is a newbie to working out, like me. The machine itself is well built and sturdy and comes with a large monitor and a fan to keep you cool. Overall, this is Nordic Track elliptical is perfect every one of all ages and size.
