I was looking for an elliptical trainer that both my husband (6'2") and I (5'7") could use. This is NOT that machine. There is not an easy way to change to the varied options (treadmill/elliptical/climber). I wish I had purchased a different machine. Unfortunately this nevery gets used at our house.

This is more than your typical elliptical machine! I love how it has free, independently moving pedals so that you can easily adjust your stride. It also utilizes the iFit program which has tons of amazing workouts that keep me engaged. It's easy on my knees, which is a big plus. This is an incentivized review.

I am enjoying the new X16. However, it is nothing like a normal elliptical. You can find a rhythm but it is difficult to to keep it. It is sort of neat that you can change your stride to different types of steps but it is also difficult to keep a particular stride. I also find it hard to get any speed on this machine. striding it is hard to go over about 45 rpm and stair stepping I can get to maybe 55. My old elliptical I could go to 75-80 rpm. I find that IFIT is okay, but listening to the 'coaching' is boring. they just seem to ramble on about things that are not interesting. Also, on IFIT, the target RPM is dumb. . Sometimes the target is 13 and often it is only 20 at most. I can't even walk that slow. I can get a good workout on the machine, but it is unlike anything I have ever been on.

As a busy mom of three, this elliptical helps me get in my cardio while making it fun! The IFit program is helpful and it’s easy to customize the workouts for my needs. The videos on the IFit program are easy to follow. The machine took a 2-3 hours to fully assemble with the help my husband. The machine itself is very versatile because it can be used by an expert and also by someone who is a newbie to working out, like me. The machine itself is well built and sturdy and comes with a large monitor and a fan to keep you cool. Overall, this is Nordic Track elliptical is perfect every one of all ages and size. This elliptical machine is a great addition to my home gym. I especially like to use the IFIT program videos when working out because they are very informative and help me reach my workout goals. I'm 6'5", 210-pounds with bad knees, I’ve struggled to find a cardio machine that doesn’t hurt my knees- and this one doesn't. It’s sturdy, smooth, and fully supports my size without any issues. I love the iFit workouts; they make cardio enjoyable, and the ability to stream Netflix or Amazon Prime is a great bonus. I just upgraded to the new x16 elliptical from the FS7. It is the same size and function as the older model but with new features that greatly improve the experience using the machine. The bigger screen is fantastic! The incline and resistance controls on the handles are also a big improvement. My wife and I both use the machine daily and are very happy with our new machine.

This elliptical has a really smooth motion. It feels like gliding, not clunky like some other machines. The stride length is great too, really comfortable. I could stay on this thing for hours. Honestly, I was skeptical that I would enjoy the elliptical. We already have a treadmill and a bike and I use those enough to enjoy my workout. As I get older, a busy dad of 3 kids, I was told an elliptical is very low stress on the joints but still delivers a solid workout. All of these are true, but what I didn't expect was the space it took up. It was much less than I realized, fitting into an already tight space that I have. While this is the newest part of my home gym, I expect it to become one of the most used. While this is an incentivized review, it is my honest opinion.

We’ve had the elliptical for 2 years now and is used 5/7 days by several of us. The workouts through iFit are great! WiFi works well, screen gives a high quality video. Most importantly is that we’ve had no service issues which is impressive for how much we use it.
