I was looking for something to eat on Fridays during lent as a person who does not like seafood and found this Parmesan Encrusted Tilapia! It was very good and had it with some white rice and mix veggies.

Oh my goodness! I tried a sample at the store, the flavor and moistness of this fish is amazing! I went right to the freezer and bought a bag. Definitely a winner in my book.

Not only much thinner, but the pic shows a lightly breaded crust when in fact, it's much thicker. Bake time says about 20-25 min, turning once for a 145 degree temp. Actual cook time was much shorter. At 15 min the meat thermometer said 187 degrees! The fish itself tastes okay, but the breading was not to my liking! Won't buy again.

It's not as good as the recipe they used last year. These tasted more like fish sticks. Last year the fillets were bigger and juicer. The coating was crisp. These tasted more like glorified fish stick coated in a thick batter that didn't taste anything like parmesan.

Delicious and a good size fillets.
