when i used Downy Free & Senstitive liquid ,i find lot of greasy stains on my T-shirts and Towel . at first ,i think it is the problem of the detergent , but finally ,i put downy and detergent on one my dirty t-shirt at different position .after wash and dry ,i find the stains is from the Downy . .. i do not know why ,the only way ,i drop it and do not buy it again ....

This laundry detergent hits the right marks. Gets the job done with the least amount of potential chemicals to irritate your skin. Gets your laundry clean but also makes you’re clothes smell normals. In the past I have had free detergents make my clothes stink, this doesn’t do that!

I always have to use dye and perfume free products to avoid redness and itching on our skin. Now that I have Downey free and clear fabric softener our clothes have never been softer and that's a huge plus for person's with sensitive skin! Plus with the addition of now having a fabric softener that I am able to use, I can also have the option of line/air drying laundry items without them being scratchy and stiff.

I tried Downy Free & Gentle with our last loads of laundry. It was a little messy pouring it into the dispenser in my front load washing machine. Pouring straight from the bottle, the liquid dripped from the spout area onto the floor in the process of lifting it up to put the cap back on. Other than that the product is great. Left clothes nice and soft, and no irritation on my child's skin.

Well my 8 month old skin didn’t agree so we had started trying out different softeners. Well this Free & Gentle really is gentle on his skin! No irritation and best of all- it’s free of perfumes and dyes! Clothes is just as soft without any smells! I was a little skeptical at first but it really is just as good without the harsh stuff in it. I mean really- do you want to smell like all those funny scents? We don’t. Definitely found my new favorite softener and my little mini me’s skin definitely appreciates it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must admit; I've never tried any laundry product without scent because for some reason, I always thought that if there wasn't a fresh scent once it was washed, it wasn't clean (which of course is nonsense but it's just the way I automatically thought). However, after using Downy Free and Gentle Liquid Fabric Conditioner, I realize that this is not the case at all. Downy Free and Gentle may be unscented but it still does the same job of keeping my clothes soft with the same great conditioning protection that Downy products are known for. I have already recommended this Downy to my mother because she has bad allergies and I think she will realize that with no dyes and perfumes, she will prefer this product compared to other product that she has been using for the last decade and has been having reactions to.

I used it by pouring it into my fabric softener portion of the washer. Piling was reduced and the blacks that usually fade or looks like it has tons of lint on it, finally dont! And there isnt any scent on it so it doesnt go against the scent of my detergent and that is an added bonus.

My husband and I both have skin allergies and have to use free and clear detergents to wash our laundry. I would like to use fabric softener, but unfortunately haven’t been able to find a free and clear one until this. Most softeners are heavily perfumed, making them possible allergens. This was not. It was scentless and didn’t have any dyes. It made the laundry very soft and helped with the wrinkles. I would definitely buy this again and would recommend it to anyone with skin/allergy issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product with both liquid detergent, pods and powdered detergent. Compared to dryer sheets, dryer balls and Downy Original. Dryer Sheets and Balls - Much softer and less clingy. Versus regular Downy - was just as soft and comfy, but when I took it out of the washing machine to dry - felt light. Usually when I use downy original liquid, i feel a film on my clothes before I dry, but this version is great! delicate on my clothes and comes out soft and fresh :)

It left my blankets so soft and I love that it has no added dyes and perfumes that make my skin breakout.I also love how soft it made my denim jeans and shorts feel way softer than regular downy that is loaded with scent.
