I have the T1 version of this kit already and during a move, the light strip was slightly damaged, so I purchased the T2 to replace it. I love the T2. More accuracy on color matching and location. I just wish the kit built for 55”-65"was actually made into separate kits for each size TV so that there was not extra length at the end of each light strip when applying to 55"TVs.

Guys, the T3 Lite is such an improvement from their T1s. I Never had the T2s so I can't compare but these are definitely better than the T1. The camera picks up whites so well it's almost super accurate on the color display. These definitely change the vibe of your room when you're watching a movie especially with the dream view syncing. One of my favorite recent purchases and I cannot wait until the T3 pros!!

I'm removing a star because I thought you can connect this on the govee light bars I already owned. It sucks that it can't and I am forced to buy the kit which contains both instead. Overall I like this product just wish that they add an adapter where I can add my previous govee light bars.

This technology is amazing. The set up was very simple and the end results are exactly what i was looking for. I was able to include my other Govee lights into one ecosystem where the T2 tells the other lights what to do. You can use the room layout feature to tweak. Make sure you fill in all zones with the appropriate area and the color is ridiculously accurate based upon location. A couple tweaks of the white level and color saturation and you have an impressive home theater addition.

Though I had issues with shipping the performance of the unit made the wait worth it. I am impressed at how it enhanced my movie watching experience. My wife has struggled with eye fatigue while watching movies and she experienced a noticeable difference. The kids loved it! So I would say it's a really great purchase.

I have been looking at these for a while and wasn't sure if it was worth it , decided to try when they went on sale . Definitely enhances the tv watching experience . Excellent product from Govee as usual. Only 4 stars because I wish I bought the latest model.

Fit my 65' Sony TV perfectly. I've been using this product for a couple months now and am very pleased. Very easy to install and setup. The app works great and the effect is great, does a fantastic job of changing colors to reflect what's on the screen with little to no lag. Very good product. No issues so far.

This backlight will only fit on thin tv's so if you own one like I do that is about 4" thick the camera will not fit on it. I was told to send the unit back and buy another model that they have discontinued but which is available online aftermarket.

I am planning to get another for the downstairs tv when I remodel.I do recommend to adjust to a panoramic view though.

Set up of the Govee Immersion backlights was very straightforward. I benefitted from watching several YouTube videos and had the 4 LED strips affixed to the back of my 60-inch TV in about 20 minutes. The adhesive that's on the strips themselves is fairly forgiving and I was able to make minute adjustments to get everything aligned just right. The music mode is very entertaining and my favorite effect is "rolling". The microphone easily picked up the beat in louder songs and even picked up voices in the room on the quieter songs. I'm very happy with the music mode. Video mode is another story. I've been using "part" video mode, which is supposed to use the Govee camera to detect what colors are at the edge of the TV screen and then project those colors in the appropriate areas behind and around the screen. Several reviewers recommended turning the saturation down, which does provide more realistic colors (otherwise, you typically end up with a very bright, rich color projection... that rarely matches anything being displayed on your screen). However, even with the saturation at about 20%, I have noticed that colors that are actually displaying at the top of my TV screen are projected at the BOTTOM of my TV. I re-calibrated the Govee lights 5 times and still witnessed this phenomenon. I also triple-checked my setup to make sure I had correctly indicated which way my lights were mounted on the back of my TV: counter-clockwise or clockwise. I mounted the camera at the top of the TV, looking down, thinking that dust and ambient light from overhead light sources might affect the Govee accuracy if I had mounted the camera on the bottom of the TV, looking up. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase. The LEDs are a really fun addition to playing music via my TV and console. I also enjoy the way the colors sort-of match what's on my screen when I watch content on my TV. Do the lights accurately reproduce what's on the screen, color-and-location-wise? Not really. But, for the price and because... it's a TV and not a Cadillac... these lights are totally fine. I've included images of the camera calibration set up process + a video in which you may notice colors being projected below the TV that actually appear in the upper part of the content on the TV.
