As the title says this has some amazing effects and I use it as a regular light in my space. That said especially in the blue ranges the colors are a bit iffy, our blue is a turquoise like light and anything but red seems a little off. As well the "cool white" doesn't match the look of my govee bulbs, preferring more of a 6500k than 5000k.

This is my 3rd govee product and we absolutely love it. It makes family movie night that much better. Thank you again govee!!

I have had the last 2 generations of TV lighting. This is definitely worth the upgrade. Govee has the best lighting options for all scenarios. They are my go to for smart home lighting.

This is just one of many Govee products I own. I love all their products but now sure of the upgrade yet. I upgraded to the Tv backlight T2 in hopes of a big change. 2 cameras seems like a great concept but I don’t get the results I hoped for. Not really seeing a big difference in colors changing from one side to the other. Not sure if the configuration is not accurate but I set it up fine with the previous version.

Real easy to set this up and it adds a cool backlighting effect to movies. I've been wanting something similar for years and this was a good value and works great. Probably took less than 10 minutes to install and run through the configuration process

Easy to install on a 65 inch TV. Lights are bright and responsive. Slight delay and weak pickup in Video mode but is fine if room is completely dark. The camera mount is easy and the calibration a bit quirky - again better to do it in a room as dark as you can get it; the calibration is easier and be sure to set the white balance. You may have to use a slightly blue hue on your white setting in order to get yellows and greens the way you like them. Future? I would go with a sync box.

Easy to install. Lots of options with the app but lacks a couple simple features. 1. I'd love an easy way for me to have it turn on the same time I turn on the TV without having to set up an assistant like Google or Alexa. 2. It should have an option for a simple static bias light for improving perceived contrast on the screen.

Installed on tv as directed. Had to play with the saturation and coloring as some of the colors were not matching up as expected. Also, the clips for holding wire on back of tv were flimsy and poorly held the cables. Therefore, had to buy something third party. Overall, pretty good and adds to my tv watching.

This product is really cool and definitely enhances the watching/gaming experience. I love the responsiveness of the sensors and the chip. I have about 6 govee products total, and I just realized that I can map all these lights to the TV and set up their location based ob where you are sitting. So the entire environment reflects whats the on the tv. Amazing experience.

Having ordered and used numerous TV backlights, this one is by far the best I've encountered. Its responsiveness to on-screen content is exceptional, and the intuitive app makes it simple to customize the lighting to your exact preferences. Highly recommended!
